Then hotel is very close to main attraction and there is a tram service available about 100 meters from the hotel. The hotel staff are very nice offering every possible help. The breakfast was average with very little selection. The carpet in the lobby and staircase needs to be replaced.

The lady is helpful and nice but not the guys. Breakfast is too late for tourist who have guides early in the morning. No elevator and no help with the luggage’s. The hotel is not in good aspect.

Staff was not friendly. Many things were not working and not in proper condition like toilet, lights, etc. There were bed bugs we found and they didn't take any actions to fix it.

Worst hotel room in the entire Italy trip
The hotel was located on a back street next to the car tunnel/train tracks, the window was painted, the room was extremely noisy and shaken when cars and trains passed. The room was so hot when we got in because AC not allowed running by law? That was the only hotel had this law in all of 11 hotels we were stayed in Italy trip. The bathroom was horrible: narrow and small, it was hard to use toilet without touch the wall or bidet even for average size people. Towels looked gray color, the roll of bathroom tissue was wet during housekeeping.

This is a nice place to stay. High ceilings give a open feel. Small kitchenette and dining place. Very secure so felt safe. Unfortunately property backs up to railroad tracks and the walls are thin. You could hear trains and other occupants. Beds are hard as cement so if you enjoy a firm bed you’ll love these. Good breakfast offerings and staff was very friendly and helpful. .

Why a hotel like this one remains doing business? The building is old, dirty and unsafe. The room are terrible and not maintained. Shower has mold oll over,room has dust everywhere and the most sad part of this, is that they do not care. Although I would say that two employees from reception have the right attitude. Knowing that many hotel managers either argue or try to justify the feedback provided, I have pictures available.

Our stay at the Hotel Luxor was excellent. The location was 5 min walk from the train station and 10-15 mins walk to the Duomo plaza. The lady who helped us check in was absolutely kind and even suggested what we go see in our brief stay in Florence. I appreciated the fact that this hotel had an elevator. It was small but it beats taking our luggage up the stairs. The breakfast was also delicious. Lots of pastries, eggs, bread, water, juice, and coffee. What really left an impression was after we checked out, they let us leave our luggage there so we can explore. When we came back 5 hours later, my husband and I were exhausted and the host offered us cold water. I really appreciated that. If we ever go back to Florence, I would definitely stay here!

Excellent service by the owner Betta! She was very friendly, courteous and informative! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return on our next trip to Florence. Great if you are travelling by train as it is minutes away from SMN station.

Bad Hotel Staff makes all the Difference
The hostess was a cold, inhospitable person who’s unwillingness to be human ruined our whole stay in Firenze. A/c was completely inadequate and we spent the whole night sweating. Hotel policy says the a/c must stay off when not inside the room. Never again and I would not recommend to my least favourite person

This hotel feels like a hostile. It’s not in a nice area, it’s advertised as a clean spacious hotel however it is not at all. There is clearly mold growing in the shower. Base boards are taped and falling off the wall. You’re right next to a train station and they seem to be doing construction at all times and it sounds like the walls are crumbling. Never booking again.

We and the kids struggle to sleep at night due to AirCon not keeping the temperature below 25c though it was set at 21c. I think it was due to its capacity being too low for the studio. It was in summer - very hot day. Elizabth was very helpful.

I am very picky about hotels and was so happy we chose this one. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and speak several languages. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was great! We walked all around the city from the hotel. Great location! I highly recommend staying here.

Property is a little outside the center of Florence, close to train station which is convenient if you used it as a base to visit other Tuscany towns. The rooms are a little small. Staff is super helpful and friendly, they have a decent breakfast included. If you are on a budget it is a good choice.

Pro- family room was clean w mini fridge stocked w cold water, soda and beer, close to train station n tour meetup, outstanding staff, good breakfast Con- shady at night due to hotel being in corner next to trains, ac was limited Hotel was conveniently located but was in dark corner so I probably wouldn’t like it as a solo female traveler. Room served me well for sleeping since I went on an all day Tuscany tour with 2 other travelers. Local walk to restaurants and to the market that has so many food options. Staff was awesome- thank you!

Hosts were very friendly and helpful and welcoming. The place was clean, comfortable, and the room was adequate. Breakfast was great! And hosts were helpful with directions to various highlights in the area. Only downside was that the area was kind of sketchy - and it was a pretty long walk to many of the things we wanted to see.

Overall, very happy, family of 5!
Stayed as a family of 5, three adults, one child and one infant. We had a Junior Suite, one king bed, two singles and one cot. We were very happy with the room, while it was basic, it had everything that we needed. It was large and clean and functional, very happy! Breakfast was a little on the basic side, but very adequate. The staff were wonderful, really friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for coming from the station. With 2 cases and a pram, plus a toddler, we didn't want to have to go to far away from the station, but still be close enough to walk in to the centre. Overall, we had a very lovely stay at this 3* hotel and would happily return!

Small bathroom, window is like a wall panel which is a street level so you can’t open it to get fresh air. Place is dark and gives you that “you are in the basement” of a house. Other than that, good place to stay for couple of days.. close to train and trolley. Very accommodating team.

This is a small, family-owned business, and the lovely proprietors, Elizabetta and her son Constanino, put a great deal of effort into making their guests feel welcome and special. Our room was absolutely immaculate, and the breakfast each morning was a treat - especially the coffees they would make to order - either American or Italian style. I found our stay to be a very good value, as the location is only a ten minute walk from the train station. The money we saved by staying at their very reasonably priced hotel allowed us to splurge on some nice meals at a few excellent restaurants Constantino recommended. Our family felt that they truly cared about our comfort and happiness while we were there. Highly recommended p.
