The location was great everything we wanted to see was in short walking distance . Everything was close . Really only issue was it is a bit small , mattress was not very comfortable get a new one and all would have been better . The little extra room had 2 chairs but TV was in main room with bed so sat on bed to watch a movie . I know there’s not much you could do with the size but we did have fun sitting on patio and watching the crowds . Loved Florence would recommend highly .

Mold, dirty, and unsafe. Not a good neighborhood. The photos on the website are misleading. 5 locks on the door, broken shutters, poor lighting, light bulb burned out, dishwasher stinks, mold in bathroom, dirty around the toilet, and caution tape pealing off the stairs. The stairway to the apartment was scary and unsafe. We were very disappointed and told management and they were willing to move us for a fee the next day. We could not move due to yours. Don't book.

Oh my!!! This apartment is amazing. Such cool furnishings and architectural details. It was a highlight of our stay in Florence. One thing to keep in mind - the bedroom on the left tends to be a little loud since it faces an active restaurant on the street.

Not my cup of tea
We had a rough start to our stay by not knowing that the address shown on the website is the office, but not the property location. It meant we booked a place in a different location than we thought and had an extra long walk in the rain when we arrived. The first night we were cold having been told there was no heat source and a thin blanket only. The next day the host was responsive and brought us warm blankets and told us how to turn on the heat to take the chill off the room. That helped so much. The room itself was dark and grey, very noisy during the day with the student lounge below us and noise in the stairwells (cleaners?) starting at 5:30 in the morning. I wish I could say I loved this place because it was convenient for getting around, but it just wasn’t comfortable for me. I’m sure others with different preferences would find it wonderful.

Dear Kathleen, Thank you for your feedback.You showed up at the office because you did not read any of the many messages we sent you prior arriving. The location of the apartment was clearly showed in the listing., but again you did not read it. We are sorry you were cold the first night, but the AC (heater/cooler) has always been available for you to use, as explained during checkin.

Place was really good but not ideal for seniors or guests with big or many luggage. It is a long climb & when I booked it said unit is on 2nd floor but it was like 4th floor!!!

Very nice apartment. Close to everything. We were able to walk everywhere. There is no elevator, which we knew in advance, and the hosts carried up our very heavy luggage for us. That was very nice! They gave us a tour of the place and amenities, and information about the city.

The location is excellent and just north of the Duomo. However, the unit is on the ground floor and right infront of the sewer. There is no exhaust in the washroom so you have no choice but to keep the window open and it smells of the sewer. It also get a number of sewer flies into the unit.

A very old and unique building. The stairs are a bit steep and of variable size. That being said, the room was very clean and it was a great apartment. We developed a minor plumbing issue but Firenze Rental very quickly addressed the issue. Their staff was excellent and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Couldn’t Have Been Better
The Via Cavor apartment was just what we needed after our overnight flight and afternoon train ride from Milano. We were so ready for a shower and a good nights rest. The apartment is located just a short walk from the train station close to the Duomo!

Emmanuelle was very nice, friendly, patient and answered all our questions. The only problem I had was the shower in the bathroom. The temperature of the water changed too often from warm to hot to cold. It didn't stay warm for very long.

The apartment was nice. We noticed some ants, but other than that, relatively clean. Great location, be prepared to walk up 85 stairs though! Also they say there is wifi, but it RARELY works.

The property was very nice, it had everything we needed for 3 days in Florence. Our host was very kind and accommodating- we had trouble with phone service and were late to meet him by about 45 minutes. Despite our tardiness the host stayed and waited for us. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Florence.

The apartment is spacious and can comfortably accommodate 4 people. Perfect for our family of 4! Loved to have a kitchen and also laundry available. A/C is just sufficient enough, but struggles when the weather is hot.

Stunningly beautiful apartment with a private elevator, plenty of living space, and the most perfect view of the cathedral. Worth every penny and highly recommended. It was also at the center of the historic area, so an easy walk to all the sites.

Excellent property! Very good communication from the host, who meet us there at chosen time. The property was very clean, excellent air con with 3 in total. Included washing machine, towels, toilet roll etc… is on a Main Street but no issue with noise in the 4th floor apartment we selected.. note when booking you can select different apartments and the one we selected matched what was in the photos. Only improvement would be to have an oven glove and also an extra baking tray for the oven.

We couldn’t have been happier with this property! It was centrally located with excellent restaurants right in the square outside the front door. The area had a great vibe. Busy but not too busy. We struggled to choose from all the restaurant options as there were so many! On the last day of our stay there was a fruit stall set up in the square with the best apricots and fruit we’ve ever eaten! The apartment itself was huge and magnificent. It was absolutely beautifully decorated with interesting artwork, beautiful carpets and light fixtures. The beds were super comfortable. We had more than enough space for all 5 of us. Communications were clear and efficient. We don’t think we could have chosen a better option. We walked everywhere. Absolutely loved our stay in beautiful Florence!

A representative met us at the property and gave us info about the apartment and the area. It was very nice to have that communication. The place was in a perfect location, just right by the Duomo and many amazing restaurants and things to do. The interior was also really nice and we had all the items we needed. I would recommend this place for sure.

Stayed with three people during the July heatwave. Main bedroom upstairs with room AC unit. No AC (only a fan) in the small bedroom downstairs. AC unit in the main living area but pullout couch fairly comfortable.

Beautiful three-bedroom, two-bath apartment with an unbeatable view of the Duomo. Tastefully decorated to reflect older Florentine tradition and modern upgrades. Conveniently located in the historical center and walkable to many locations of interest. There is a slow but workable private elevator to this 4th floor apartment. Washing machine and dryer are on the ground floor so the elevator is a good way to avoid the walk up. However, few of the electrical outlets that were available worked so we had to charge all our electronics and use the iron either in one outlet in the kitchen or one in one of the bedrooms. Also, ne of the bedrooms doesn't have curtains and only has not-adjustable mini-blinds so the sun will wake you up at 5-6am. Overall a great stay with lots of space for the four of us.

Besides check in the stay was spectacular. I didn’t know we had to check in two days before and keep in touch. Bit of a headache. But the room was large very clean super comfortable plus location is unbelievable, food near by museums and shopping. Highly recommend this spot.

This is a really nice apartment! Both bedrooms and bathrooms were a great size. The apartment was well stocked with everything you might need and the hosts that met us from Firenze rentals were great. I highly recommend this apt in Florence.

This place is outstanding in every way 5 min walking distance to cathedral and slightly more for museum. Gardens are a 2 to 3 min walk just up the hill in back of the apartment. Parking in large garage was a great idea and we never needed the car until we left the city. Apartment was very nice and comfortable beds. Laundry facilities were great as well, TV’s able to connect to Netflix and Amazon prime perfect place to stay and all the gelata places close by were a bonus
