Breakfast was really good. Room was spacious. Checking in I found was a bit of a hassle, as it’s at a different hotel/location. There’s also no reception/hotel rep at the B&B that’s available at all times. Also wished breakfast was held at an earlier time. It’s from 8:30am, however, the other hotel did accommodate us with breakfast at that location from 7:30am.

Great location for our one night stay. Super friendly staff and convenient location. The room got quite hot even with the aircon on the lowest it could go. A little bit of wear and tear in the bathroom but lovely and clean with plenty of room

The bed was comfortable although the pillows were flat and hard. Decent sized room with ensuite. Only one window shutter worked properly. There was an adjoining room door that was held closed by a fixed desk. You could hear the people next door showering. We were 2 females travelling alone so were a little uneasy about this. Shower was nice and worked well although rust/dirt marks around the shower fixings. Good location. Breakfast staff was lovely and reasonable continental breakfast. There was a delivery at 4:30am one morning which was very loud. Air conditioning available but was set to 22°. The accommodation was OK and Florence was stunning!

The only thing about I complain is that they don’t tell you that u have to ho to the hotel To go get the keys for ur B&B and they only give you one key so once you leave the room r r gets shout down and the Ac takes a while to cool but besides that the room is tiny but clean bed is comfy shower is cute no shower door but it’s ok .

Luxury on a budget

We stayed here on a quick stopover in Florence. The room was lovely and large with good amenities. The location was perfect allowing us to walk to all the well known site seeing areas in Florence.

This is a good option. Nice clean, pleasant space in a quiet area near cafes and shopping, close to city center. Only thing missing was coffee or coffee maker in the room. Otherwise, nice linens and bedding etc.

Really not a bed-and-breakfast since breakfast is not included. Even though they advertise that it is. Poor check in directions in Orbitz. Once you do check in you have to walk around the block and try to find the building where they supposedly bed-and-breakfast exist. It is a 3 x 5 sign not clearly marked. No elevator so you’re carrying your luggage upstairs. Once in the room, the room was wonderful. The area around once you got used to it was very nice.

This b&b is bare bones, but perfectly situated at the end of a pedestrian street leading to downtown Florence. The “hi-speed wifi” was extremely slow and cut out multiple times. To access the internet, we had to hotspot. Our room was excruciatingly hot and the air conditioner didn’t work. Set to the lowest 18 degrees, the room stayed around 29 degrees. Situated across from community garbage drop off, opening the windows to get some air resulted in super loud garbage bin noises all night long. However, it’s conveniently close to laundromats, high end shopping, late night bars and the downtown core is a 25 minute walk away, down said pedestrian street full of charming shops.

check in a nightmare, do not recommend

the check in process was SO FRUSTRATING. We arrived to the physical address of the room (B&B Santa Maria del Fiore, Via Antonio Scialoja) - then we realized we had to park and walk around the block to get to the front desk and get our key card. We then walked back to the apartment and used the key card to check in. The front desk is in the building of FORTE16 Apartments. The bathroom door was stuck when we arrived. We called the front desk and they had someone come to fix it. The room was small- we hardly had any space on either side of the king size bed to unpack our suitcases. Bathroom was small and had a pocket door- so the fact that the door didn't close was a problem, because the toilet was only a few feet from the bed! There were no hooks to hang up towels in the bathroom. There wasn't even a soap dish to put the bar of soap in- there was very little room to even put our toothbrushes on. The reason we booked this hotel was because it looked clean and simple and that there would be a concierge there to help us park the car and give us advice on things to do in Florence. This turned into a DIY stay which was really frustrating. We had planned to use the hotel valet, but We managed to find street parking and pay using the app easy park. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful- but it was so frustrating that they were 1.5 blocks away from our actual room. FORTE16 Apartments looked quite nice- i wish we stayed there! No breakfast included. Do not recommend

Me surpreendi com a hospedagem. Apesar de uma dificuldade inicial para encontrar o hotel, uma vez que fica em um anexo sem muitas sinalizações, o quarto e o cafe da manha são muito bons. A localização do hotel também é um ponto positivo, pois fica proximo da entrada para o centro historico de Florença. Talvez encontrem uma dificuldade para estacionar, mas eles possuem estacionamento pago a disposição.

Ningún fallo a buen precio

Todo lo básico de un buen hotel a un precio de B&B: Habitación amplia. Cama cómoda y grande. Buen baño (renovado) con buena presión del agua. Entorno tranquilo y buenas ventanas. Dispone ademas de un hervidor y una neverita pequeña. Es un primer piso al que hay que subir andando, eso sí, con unas 5 habitaciones en un edificio de 3-4 pisos. No tuvimos ningún problema de ruidos con vecinos o con otros inquilinos. A 10 minutos andando (cómodamente) de Sta. María de Croce y unos 20 de la galeria Uffizi. A 5 min hay sitios para desayunar o comer y supermercado. Recomendamos el Caffe Lorenzo (Muy rico el capuccino y los dulces). El checkin lo haces en un apartahotel que está muy cerca (menos de 5 min) donde fueron muy amables, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta la amabilidad en general en Florencia, que es un poco escasa. Pudimos dejar alli la maleta tras el checkout, ya que teniamos el vuelo tarde.

Me gustó la ubicación y la limpieza, así como la atención en el hotel en que le entregan las llaves, siempre fueron muy atentos, y con un problema de electicidad que tuvimos, llegaron de inmediato a solucionárnoslo. No me gustó, que el aire acondicionado no servía y la regadera del baño tenía fuga que yo tuve que tratar de solucionar con una bolsa, porque se inundaba el baño, y que al hacer la limpieza no dejaban suficiente jabón ni papel higiénico y solo un día nos dejaron aguas puras, nunca más; además, creo que por lo menos deberían entregar algún snack
