Excellent location, adjacent to thruway. Entire family really loved the I-84 Diner, which is walking distance away. We will be back, just for that alone! Hotel was excellent, rooms in great shape, nice and clean. Breakfast had plenty of options, everybody was satisfied.

I have never stayed in a hotel room without a closet. For the area there is not many options so it was at least clean and the bed comfortable enough, but each time o would go to hang my coat it would just upset me to think the room seriously had no closet.

Thank you for your review. Although I am a little confused by your comments. Each of our rooms has a closet that have a double door enclosure. You just have to pull the handle and the closet will open. Also, there are many hotels in this immediate area. Maybe this review was meant for a different location? Pros: conveniently located to downtown Fishkill, I-84, gas stations, area attractions, Taconic SP; room was affordable, spacious, updated and clean; bed was comfortable; good amount of closet space and clothes storage; good noise insulation both from outside/road and neighboring rooms; lots of room amenities - microwave, mini-fridge, coffee machine, hair dryer; room could be heated/cooled quickly, altho the AC was a little noisy cycling on/off; black-out curtains kept the room plenty dark; secure key-card-access-only to guest rooms on 1st floor; hotel amenities such as pool, gym, self-serve snack bar, ATM, free breakfast, free WiFi, lobby lounge/TV area, corporate meeting and event spaces Cons: not an attractive location/exterior - located in an industrial park, and I almost drove past it thinking it was an office building, and the lobby/interior of the hotel isn't especially welcoming, either; the staff wasn't warm of particularly friendly - no one working there acknowledged me unless I said something first; the only entry point is the main entrance - you can use the emergency exits to leave, but can't enter thru them, and it was a bit of a hike to my room; the sink area is poorly lit, a nightmare for putting on make-up; there's no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so unless you leave the bathroom door open while showering, the mirror fogs so badly that it's unusable; the 4 bed micro-pillows STINK - 2 standard or king pillows would've been better

I booked this hotel because of the pool. I have two young boys 5 and 7 who love to swim. I called to confirm the pool was open and it was, however it was not heated. It was 69 degrees which is pretty chilly. Definitely a bummer,

Newly refreshed, convenient, comfortable, CLEAN!
This property looks like it was recently refurbished. Very nice, clean, and comfortable. Spacious rooms. Large, and amply supplied breakfast area. A close walk to a reputable Diner that is worth visiting for any of your meals.

Nice hotel with very good fitness center.
Stayed for two nights while visiting family. Haley was very friendly and helpful; the fitness center was very nice; and I could walk over to one of my favorite diners (I-84). I would pick this hotel again.

Horrible and HOT
My first time staying in New York and I have never heard of an energy-saving hotel that prevents you from lowering the AC in your room once the temperature outside reaches a particular temperature. Even though it was cold outside, it was very warm in the room, and we had a hard time sleeping because they prevent the AC in your room from coming on.

The property was very clean and thee was a great diner that was walkable. The woman at the front desk (Leah) was very personable and very helpful. The one suggestion I would make is the towels. We had just two towels that were very small for bath towels and not very thick.
