Independent Fiordland National Park Area hotels

"I stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. Given the inexpensive price, I was a bit concerned about what I might find. It was great! I got there after the office was closed, but they had arranged for me to get my key late and a map to my room, and it went smoothly. Pillows were fluffy, linens were good quality, and everything was clean. Everything in the building was well maintained. It was off season, so I'm not sure if it would be noisy if all the rooms were full, but it was quiet while i was there. The only negatives were that the kitchen was closed, so i couldnt prepare food, or at least i couldnt find an open kitchen. Happily youre a 5 min drive or 15 min walk from restraunts. The dining area was open, pleasant and well maintained. There seems to be somewhat minimal parking, but I may just not have understood where to park. I did find a space near my room."

"Amazing stay at our cabin. Kitchen fully stocked to enable us to cook our own food. Great friendly staff always ready to help. The hot tub overlooking the lake was magical. Highly rate this park. "
