Didn't go specifically to this theatre, but if you are in Edinburgh in August there is the Theatre Festival, including The Fringe--consisting of thousands of performances over about 3 weeks, all around Edinburgh! It's a lot of fun, but also doubles the crowds. So be aware, it will be a bit more chaotic during this time.
