I give them city tax and they have many excuses don’t give me back the exchange, normally is around 1€ per night, we stay 2nights they charge €3 person per night, and the riad many flys

Good Hotel in Fes

Very good hotel in Moroc. It just located next to the road, we ask taxi driver stop just in front of it. It is a good news after long transportation from Sahara! And I just take 5min walk can arrive Medina. It is a beautiful traditional Riad and I can see entire Medina view at the roof. Staffs are very polite and friendly, it is totally different from the peoples in Medina :-p I feel safe when stay there, and they can provide VERY GOOD Moroccan food! Regretted is Riad in Moroc usually doesn't has elevator, pick my heavy luggage up to 3rd floor is quite difficulty. And the wifi doesn't cover, so I had to go down to lobby for internet. And drainage in bathroom is not that good, I felt standing in fountain every night. Overall it's good accommodation during my Moroc trip, recommended.

It's very pleasant stayed experience in Fès, staff will arrange early breakfast to anyone. Big and very decorated room, of course Raid too.

No proper service. Rooms were clean. But… bathrooms needed significant maintenance, lighting was poor, poor wifi, no drinking water bottles. Heater in room was not working well. Clean towels, clean bed. Would not recommend.

Desayuno con ingredientes frescos y variedad de alimentos. Te preguntan a qué hora lo quieres para tenerlo preparado. Situado a la entrada de la Medina, por lo que es muy cómodo para visitarla. Personal encantador, siempre pendiente de si necesitas algo. Muy recomendable.

Excelente ubicacion, en cuanto a la limpieza bien, pero recomiendo quitar el polvo al vestido exhibido y el aire no funcionaba, pero para el tiempo que estuvimos bien. Del desayuno no se como era porque tampoco nos dio tiempo de degustarlo ya que salimos muy temprano y no nos dieron opciones. En cuanto a las Instalaciones comunes, bellisimas un Riad muy bonito y tranquilo.

Le riad est très confortable, le petit déjeuner délicieux et le service exceptionnel. Aziz est un jeune homme très attentionné. Il nous a aidé à trouver un guide pour visiter la médina et à trouver quelqu’un pour nous aider suite à un pépin mécanique avec notre voiture. Je suis très contente d’avoir pu dormir 3 nuits au Riad Ibn Khaldoun.

Attractive building with character and great staff

A quaint riad well located close to the médina. Of course one cannot expect maximum comfort in a 600 year old building, but staff Abdullah and Aziz are real gems who made the stay memorable.

This is a very beautiful historic building, decorated by skilled artisans. However, the strongest recommendation comes for the extremely helpful and kind staff. We have never been in a hotel or vacation property with such attentive and supportive staff. It is obviously in the Medina, a quieter part, but the main attractions very walkable. The shower/bathroom is basic ( as i guess showers did not exist when this building was erected. However, it was meticulously cleaned. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Their kindness and attentiveness ensure that every guest's needs are met with care and genuine warmth. Samad is always available in a good mood with a smile 🙂 ready to assist with anything required, making guests feel comfortable, safe, and valued throughout their stay. The breakfast experience at Riad Ibn Khaldoun is truly outstanding. Each morning, lalla khadija and Samad treated us with delicious spread of traditional Moroccan dishes moroccan coffe, moroccan tea and fresh orange juice prepared with love and authenticity. Lovely big old building with antique furniture, lots of wood and mozaïc everywhere. The atrium alone is worth an overnight stay. Located 40 steps from a busy street on the edge of the soukh. Probably has the best view of the whole neighborhood. I recommend going on the roof early in the morning to take in the calls to prayer coming from every angle. But the best part of this place is the staf, very kind, hospitable, and helpful.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them without being overbearing. This really made our short stay. The Riad is on the lower edge of the Medina so as easy to find as any in Fes, minutes walk into the main part and downhill after a day of exploring. The roof terrace has a wonderful 360 degree view over the city.

I loved my stay at this hotel! Stepping into this hotel is like stepping back in time. The architecture is gorgeous and adds so much character. We booked for 4 nights at Riad Ibn Khaldun while we were visiting Fès and the surrounding areas. The Riad is close to the Medina and many restaurant while sufficiently remote to be calm. The rooftop view is simply wonderful, the terrasse is higher than the Medina and you can see a big part of the city with the mountains in the background. Abdessamad, the staff member we most interacted with, was simply lovely and helpful. Don’t be shy to ask him for some thé à la menthe on the rooftop, it’s always a welcome break from the lively Medina.
