Beautiful riad in the heart of Fes!
This is a beautiful riad in the heart of Fes. It's very easy to walk to all the major sites, but the riad is still quiet and peaceful. The staff are also super helpful at arranging guides, reserving a local hammam (traditional bath and massage), and any other questions.

Great place to stay in Fes!
The riad is beautiful and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Overall, our stay was great however, there were some things that were a little unclear- such as the meal times. We were under the impression that we could get food or drinks at any time of day but many times when we went to the rooftop restaurant, there was nobody around, except for dinner time. It would be helpful to have something in the room that outlines the restaurant hours, etc.. Also, the laundry process was confusing and we were told different things about the cost. When we did recieve our clothes back, we were then told a different and higher price than we were originally. Would have been nice to know exact cost before giving our laundry to staff. Also, hotels.com says there is a pool at this riad but there is not. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with only minor things that could be improved on.

Good location and friendly staff
Very nice riad with a good location in the outskirts of the medina with good options for parking your car. The staff was very friendly and even upgraded our room for free. There is also a rooftop area where you can eat your breakfast and order dinner in the evening.

The hotel shows old lovely heritage of Morocco. Staff are so helpful .. comprehensive explanation of what to expect from the beginning. Food is lovely especially at the top . Staff was helpful in facilitating guide to old city of fes and car to to Efrane.. Good Choice for family and groups

We were a group of 4 people. The staff welcomed us with open arms and hot Moroccan Tea. We sat in a gorgeous common room while the host explained several options for touring the area. He arranged a tour guide for us who took us through the Medina day after our arrival. The guide was a godsend as it would be easy to get lost within 5 minutes of walking around. Our guide, Ahmed, was delightful. We saw local markets, the university, the mosque (the outside only) , the leather tannery, the hamman and other local highlights. This Riad has a roof top restaurant and the food is prepared in-house by the mother and the sister of the family. We would highly recommend a stay at this RIAD!!

Perfect!
The Dar is fantastic! The service is top notch and they accommodation is traditional and beautiful - a real riad with a central courtyard exquisitely appointed and very well maintained as well as a roof top terrace for relaxing and dining.

When I arrived, the person who greeted me (Sofien sp?) brought me tea, and also sat with me and had a map of the Medina and highlighted areas and showed me how to get to the place I was going to dinner that night. He and the other man were so helpful for anything I needed. My room was big and comfortable. The place is very pretty. There is a terrace restaurant that I didn’t get to eat in, but I heard was good. It’s possible to drive to it but it is also a very short walk from the Bab Ziat. You do need a guide to see the Fes Medina. The Riad called to get me one and he was great! I had a long, wonderful tour of the area. I stayed two nights and the only issue was I couldn’t sleep the second night because of a family staying with a screaming and crying baby/toddler. I don’t blame the riad for that, but it was unfortunate. I left early the second morning and they packed me food for breakfast since they weren’t serving yet.

Amazing Riad, the best we’ve been to in Morocco. Its decorations are just gorgeous, we stayed at the Chefchaouen room which was lovely. Staff were kind and helpful with local tips. Recommendation: hire a tour guide to walk around Fes. The Medina has tons of small alleys, so it’s easy to get lost. There’s also plenty of “hasslers” who will try to confuse you with incorrect directions to take money off you.

The location is great- walking distance to major attractions, but in a quiet area away from noise and traffic. Staff is very accomodating and helpful. The decor is beautiful, just as shown in the pictures. Th breakfast is amazing. Would definitely stay here again if return.

Dar Fes Tresor is located in an ideal location for transportation. The decor is amazing and the staff are very hospitable and friendly. Great place if you need to spend a day or two within the Fes Medina.

Beautiful Riad with Fabulous Hospitality
Can't say enough good things about the Riad and the staff. Room was clean and very comfortable. Food was excellent had breakfast and dinner there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped organize a driver to pick us up from the airport and guide for the medina. This Riad is also accessible by car for those who don't or can't navigate the medina alleys. Highly recommend.

Really one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff was exceptional and friendly. The rooms are huge and comfortable, and the food was fresh and tasted amazing. The terrace had outstanding views of Fes. They were so helpful for booking trips to the Sahara and Chefchaouen and took a lot of stress out of the planning. It really felt like home and family and I can't wait to get back!

Struttura eccellente, molto curata e con stanze davvero meravigliose. Si trova in una posizione molto comoda, raggiungibile in auto (a differenza di molti altri riad nella Medina) e strategica per raggiungere i principali luoghi d’interesse. Il personale è super, ci ha aiutato con ogni nostra esigenza, ci ha trovato delle guide per girare la città e si è occupato personalmente di tutte le nostre richieste. Colazione super abbondante in una terrazza molto bella che mostra l’intera città. Prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo!

We had a wonderful stay at the stunning Dar. The staff was attentive to our every need. Parking right outside was easy and the Medina just a few steps away. The staff helped us to book a tour guide. Our guide took us to a lot of unwarranted shops that overcharge tourist. Perhaps find an outside tour company with good reviews.

We had a wonderful stay here! It was in quiet and accessible location but still close to everything. What made the place special was that Abdel and Redouane were super helpful with everything we needed. We had originally booked a smaller room but because they had a larger one available Abdel upgraded us for free.

Excellent service!
Management was very kind. Youssef (the manager) was very hospitable and offered us many services. The receiptionist (Radouane) was also very thoughtful and offered to get our bus tickets and lunch. The cleaning staff (Samira) was very kind and took care of our laundry too. Service is 5 star here. Location is safe and central. You won't regret this place

Servizio ottimo, gentilissimi tutti. Nota di merito per Redwan, il ragazzo tutto fare del riad, si è occupato personalmente di ogni nostra minima necessità, dall’alba al tramonto. Peccato per gli odori della camera, probabilmente dovuto alla città o alle tubature, fatto sta che era insopportabile nelle camere più piccole.

ancora grazie mille per aver visitato il nostro paese e aver soggiornato nel nostro riad a fes. prenoti una notte nel nostro riad e ci contatti prima della notte in cui soggiorni nel nostro riad e ci chiedi di cercare di trovarti se abbiamo disponibilità per una notte prima della notte che prenoti, perché arrivi a fes un giorno prima, ti abbiamo detto che abbiamo tutte le nostre stanze piene e ti ho detto che abbiamo una stanza molto piccola che non la mettiamo nel sito web perché è piccola e tu dici che nessun problema cerchiamo di aiutarti, quindi puoi avere posto dove stare, il giorno dopo ti diamo la camera che hai prenotato era grande e confortevole e abbiamo fatto del nostro meglio per renderti molto felice, ma scrivi solo dell'esperienza della prima notte, comunque speriamo che tu possa tornare di nuovo un giorno e ti diamo una stanza molto speciale per te. grazie mille per aver visitato il nostro paese

Le personnel est très cordial, le cadre est magnifique et le petit déjeuner fort appétissant. De plus juste à la limite des remparts il est facilement accessible par taxi. Et juste à l'intérieur des remparts l'accès à la médina à pied est facile.

Très beau Riad, rénové avec beaucoup de goût. Les éléments anciens sont bien mis en valeurs et la déco est sobre et élégante. Toit amovible pour couvrir le patio très appréciable pour le petit déjeuner en saison fraîche. Très jolie terrasse et belle vue sur la medina et les montagnes environnantes. Facile d'accès, situé près d'une porte des remparts de la medina, Bab Ziat. Chambre Merzouga magnifique, lit immense et très confortable. Accueil chaleureux et très souriant de la part des 2 étudiants. Ont été de très bons conseils pour le hammam. Toujours prêts à nous aider pour prendre un petit taxi... Un grand merci aussi pour le plan de la medina, très appréciable pour mieux se repérer... Petit déjeuner varié et très frais. Très bon jus d'orange. Merci pour les spécialités marocaines. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Wir waren 4 Tage in Fés. Die Lage ist sehr gut, 10“ von Blue Gate, leicht zu finden und sehr nah an der Straße, so dass man nicht seinen Koffer zu lange durch die Medina ziehen muss. Das Personal (und hier ein besonderes Lob an Rednouane) ist außergewöhnlich! Als wir an der Hauptstraße von unserem Táxi ausstiegen, wurden wir direkt von Rednouane empfangen, der uns dann bis zum Hotel begleitet hat. Am Hotel haben wir Tipps fur die Stadt bekommen und auch fur Tours die man sehr bequem über das Personal buchen kann. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet, im Zimmer hört man kaum Geräuschen von draußen und es gibt keine Moschee in unmittelbare Nähe, was fur einen guten Schlaf sorgt. Das Frühstuck ist lecker, ausreichend und, wie typisch im Marokko, hauptsächlich süß. Es gab immer Joghurt, Honig, Marmelade, Butter, Kiri, Baguette, Oliven und frisch zubereitete Kuchen und Pancake ( oder was ähnliches aus der marokkanischen Küche). Als ich erzählt habe, dass ich gerne eher etwas Herzhaftes esse, bot mir Rednouane Omelette an, was sehr aufmerksam war. Das Frühstuck wird erst ab um 9 serviert, aber wenn man früher gehen muss braucht man nur Bescheid sagen und dann bekommt man es in einem Päckchen zum Mittnehmen. Zudem gibt es auch eine wunderschöne Terrasse wo man Tee trinken und sich im Fez verlieben kann!
