「The Victorian Inn is owned and operated by a family who are there daily and it shows. People are very friendly and happy as a great vibe breakfast in the morning is very nice freshly baked scones and fruit. The hotel itself has been beautifully restored and maintained a beautiful example of a Victorian building. The bar and restaurant downstairs is great so handy to have a nice supper at the Inn. You can walk to all the shops in Ferndale. Great location will go back for sure.」

「I paid a non-refundable charge for a room in this motel. I had had a wonderful experience at a Studio 6 in Buttonwillow, so it was a shock to see the area around this Studio 6 -- the area was rundown, dirty, and unsafe. The lobby door was licked to keep the street people out. The exterior of the motel was dirty and in bad repair. There were people sitting on the stairs outside. Although the room looked okay, a puddle of something on the floor inside the door was the last straw. I did not feel...
