One of my favorite places in the world - can’t wait to go back! I loved the pool, how easy it was to get in and out of the sea all day, and the entire property. One highlight was the dj at sunset each night.

Incredible seaside location. Favignana is a beautiful island and this resort offers sunsets that would make Greece blush! Breakfast was amazing, restaurant for dinner was ok, however table service was poor (maybe it's the island's laid back style?!). We had waterfront rooms that were amazing but starting to show signs of wear and tear. Taxi into town was 16euros each way which can add up after a few trips in and out of town per day. The bus ended up being a good option and there are plenty of bikes, scooters and cars to hire from the resort. This place had everything, we loved our stay. Favignana is brilliant!

A nice relaxing stay

I’m not sure why this resort has such poor reviews. First thing to note, the hotels.com map shows that the hotel is in the centre of Favignana town. This isn’t the case. It’s some kilometres away on the other side of the island. €16 in a taxi. The resort was built in the 70s but has obviously had a fairly extensive refurb in recent years. The gardens are immaculate, maintenance is good and the furniture etc is always positioned uniformly. The employees are really wonderful! Everyone was intuitive and engaging. So much so, I was sad to leave. Unfortunately they don’t wear name tags so no special mentions. The food was very good. There’s plenty deck space littered with sunloungers so it’s not difficult to find a free spot. There’s no beach (only rock) but there is a small enclave so dip in the sea safely and a large pool. There were a few negatives… No coffee making facilities in the room & in turn, no glasses/cups. I hate this as I don’t eat breakfast and enjoy a coffee as I’m getting ready. There’s no English speaking TV channels. Plenty in other languages, but not even a news channel. The WiFi wasn’t strong enough for the (obviously new & very big) smart TVs in the room to connect so even though there’s the facility to log into Netflix and prime etc, it wasn’t possible. The bathrooms are dated but well maintained. The door locks in all the poolside WC’s were missing or defective. There’s also a long abandoned wing of the resort which is pretty unsightly & poorly disguised.

Posizione stupenda. Struttura vecchia che necessita di forte manutenzione. Servizio gentili e disponibili ma inadeguato al posto. Il percepito è stato che dovessero contenere i costi e quindi “essenziali”. Trattandosi di un 4 stelle credo debba migliorare i servizi, i locali colazione. Bar e ristorante sul Mare affascinanti

Ho soggiornato al Mangias Favignana Resort per tre notti e l’esperienza è stata eccellente sotto molti punti di vista. La struttura è immersa nella natura di Favignana, con un affaccio diretto sul mare che regala tramonti indimenticabili. Le camere sono moderne, luminose e silenziose, con letti comodi e una pulizia impeccabile, garantita quotidianamente dal personale. Il servizio ristorante è uno dei punti di forza del resort, con colazione e cena che offrono una varietà di piatti locali e internazionali, sempre ben presentati e con ingredienti freschi. Lo staff è cordiale e attento, contribuendo a rendere ogni pasto un momento piacevole della giornata. La piscina è ben mantenuta e dotata di lettini confortevoli, ideale per chi desidera alternare mare e relax in struttura. L’accesso al mare tramite piattaforma dedicata permette di fare il bagno in acque cristalline, un vero privilegio per chi cerca tranquillità senza rinunciare alla bellezza dell’isola. In sintesi, il Mangias Favignana Resort è una scelta eccellente per vivere Favignana in un ambiente elegante e rilassante, con uno staff sempre disponibile. Lo consiglio a chi desidera godersi qualche giorno di mare in un contesto curato, con la possibilità di esplorare comodamente le meraviglie dell’isola. Nota tecnica: la struttura possiede certificazioni ambientali BREEAM, un aspetto ancora raro in strutture di questo tipo e sicuramente un grande punto di forza che riflette una gestione attenta alla sostenibilità.

Hotel lagen schön Però i servizi sono stati pessimi. All’arrivo(considerando un resort molto grande) la stanza era distante. Non si capiva dove andare sembra un labirinto con i bagagli da trascinare con l’asfalto di terriccio lascio immaginare… Camera si sentiva tantissimo l’umidità.

Esperienza sicuramente da ripetere!

Abbiamo soggiornato qui dal 6 al 13 luglio '24 ed è stata una vacanza estremamente piacevole in compagnia del mio bimbo. Tutto lo staff si è dimostrato molto cortese e disponibile fin dal nostro arrivo quando ci è stata prontamente cambiata la camera che non era di nostro gradimento. Bellissima struttura sul mare immersa nel verde con una splendida piscina fronte mare. Ottima la cucina che lo Chef Simone dirige con grande maestria, professionalità e simpatia. Un saluto ed un ringraziamento particolare a Rebecca del ricevimento (sempre gentile e sorridente), Michela e Federica di ristorante e sala colazioni che ci hanno dato sempre ottimi consigli, lo Chef Simone e la gentilissima moglie. Dejligt sted og skønt personale!

Vores ophold var virkelig skønt! Vi brugte både pool, havadgang og padel. Det eneste var at restauranten på hotellet havde svingende kvalitet og håndklæder altid blev skiftet. Der ville det være rart, hvis der blev differentieret mellem om de hang og gæsten vil genbruge eller hvis de bliver smidt på gulvet, at gæsten ønsker dem skiftet.

Non all’altezza!

Purtroppo la camera non era come descritta su sito e le foto. A parte tutto lo staff, che è stato davvero attento e accogliente, il Resort non è all’altezza delle 4 stelle. Il nostro lavabo e la doccia avevano ruggine, sporcizia e ragnatele. La cassaforte non funzionava… insomma pochi comfort e tanti disagi

Purtroppo il nostro soggiorno non é stato proprio come ce lo immaginavamo (e come dovrebbe essere in un resort che porta questo nome). Partendo dalla poca pressapochezza nel check-in e check-out ci sono state delle gravi mancanze irrisolte: la prima su tutte una persiana che si è staccata dalla camera e mai aggiustata durante i 5 giorni di soggiorno, oltre ad una scarsa pulizia soprattutto nella zona bagno/doccia. Camera inoltre al primo piano, con scale, che avendo un piccolo infortunio mi hanno arrecato un po’ di difficoltà. Personale non all’altezza della struttura tranne una sola persona che si è rivelata estremamente gentile e propensa ad aiutarci. Nonostante ciò il ristorante sul mare è spettacolare e si mangia molto bene. “Vorrei ma non posso…” Davvero un peccato!

Ho prenotato questa struttura perché veniva proposta in posizione al centro del paese di Favignana ma poi ho scoperto che si trovava molto decentrata circa 4km dal punto pubblicizzato (non avrei scelto questa sistemazione se avessi saputo la sua reale posizione). Tuttavia ho trovato camere molto confortevoli e molto pulite. L’unico inconveniente della vacanza sono state le colazioni servite all’aperto in compagnia di sciami di api attratte dalle pietanze: un disagio che gli addetti cercavano di limitare. L’unica esperienza fatta al bar/ristorante sono stati dei club sandwiches MOLTO costosi e farciti con pollo di dubbia freschezza.
