"This hotel is conveniently located to the airport, shopping and casual dining. The room was very clean and the HVAC was working well. There was fresh fruit and yogurt as breakfast options. The parking lot was safe. The staff was very friendly and nice."

"Location was great but that’s it! We stayed one night. No hand soap in our bathroom. I requested soap from the first desk and I was told housekeeping would deliver it to our room. We never received it. Once we checked out and we asked about the soap. The front desk staff said oh we don’t have any!! Check out time is at 11:00. However, at 9:30 housekeeping started banging on the door asking if we needed services…why? Then, at 10:30 there was more banging on the door followed by a housekeeper entering our room with a key! I told the manager upon check out and she stated she would follow up with housekeeping and security! No apology or empathy for the inconvenience. Not to mention we paid almost $300 for this stay! If we are ever back in Norfolk we won’t be staying here."

"Pet friendly, EV charging station available. Only real complaint I have is we booked handicap accessible room, hotel was overbooked and the room wasn’t available. Staff bent over backwards to try to make it right (they purchased a shower chair and installed it) howeothe solutions didn’t help (needed walk in shower and hand holds "

"This hotel is in an excellant location. Our room overlooked the beach and water and had a balcony with chairs for sitting outside. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. I especially liked the updated room decor and the laundry room for guests. The hotel has been updated from an older facility and some parts look older. The breakfast had some fresh items which included waffles, eggs, apples, juices and biscuits and gravy and items were refilled. A highlight of our stay was watching the sunrise from our room and balcony."

"The property was nice…clean, good fitness center, room was fine. We booked through Expedia for only a 1 night stay and when we arrived to check in, they didn’t have any of the type of room we reserved, so they downgraded. The front desk person basically said our room wasn’t guaranteed because we booked through Expedia. We would stay again but book with the hotel directly."

"This was our first stay here. The tile floor in the foyer of the room and bathroom were sticky. The TV did not work. Every channel selected said “off air “. We called down to the front desk two times, both times they said they would send someone up to look at it. No one ever came. The rest of the room, although clean, needs a refresh (handles broken on the dresser, paint on the walls has seen its life-span). The bed was ok, softer than we prefer but that is just our personal preference. The shower needs re-caulking and the trim on the glass shower door was peeling off. The water pressure started out light but improved after a few minutes. Water temperature was fine. We did not eat at the hotel or use any of the amenities outside of our room. "

"Dining options could certainly use some work, but everything else was fantastic!! Also, it would be awesome to have a smart tv or firestick to watch Netflix or movies on when we get home."
