「We didn’t believe there was a swimming pool as it was not advertised on Expedia, but the pool is open now. We heard it was closed with the prior owners, but the new ownership made sure to clean it and open it up. Breakfast was good.」

「We stayed here for one night and while the hotel is a bit dated, it was very clean, the staff very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable with a spacious room and breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again.」

「Breakfast was good. Staff was excellent. Room was partially updated, but needed more work. The room was freshly painted but the inside of the door needed painting badly. The bathtub was old and needs to be updated. There was a hole in the wall between the toilet and the bathtub. The room was better than I am making it sound. It was clean and quiet and that means a lot.」

「The first room we checked into smelled like sewage. They were willing to move our room to a handicap room (which didn't smell) so that was helpful. Apparently they were "sold out". There were several signs posted that the pool was "temporarily" out of service as was the ice machine on our floor. The second morning I went downstairs to get coffee and the Starbucks area was closed because someone called in sick. We did enjoy walking out the back and being on the river walk.」

「Read many negative reviews but stayed anyway as we were traveling with dogs and there were few options in area that night. The room was OK, clean with a comfortable mattress. Only bad was the outside temp was over 100 in evening and AC struggled all night. It worked, but noise level at even lowest setting was 56 decibels - loud for sleeping. After I booked it, spouse found reviews that mentioned bedbugs. We asked about it at desk, and got a weak answer about people confusing other bugs for bed...
