I recently stayed at Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo and had a mixed experience. While the staff was friendly and responsive, several issues impacted the overall quality of the stay.
In our first suite, neither of the TVs worked properly. One froze after a minute of play, and the other wouldn’t turn on at all. The bedroom light was also burnt out. When we reported these issues, the staff was helpful and offered a room switch right away, which we appreciated.
The second room was an improvement in some ways but still had problems. The pull-out couch had leftover food and belongings inside, which was disappointing. Overall, both rooms were cleanish but definitely dusty and showing their age. Compared to other Delta Marriott properties I’ve stayed at, this location feels noticeably more outdated and in need of renovation. For the price point, it didn’t quite offer the value I’ve come to expect from the brand.
Another downside was the frequent wait at the front desk, often because the clerk was away, which made check-in and questions take longer than they should have.
While the staff was courteous and tried to make things right, the condition of the hotel took away from the experience. With better upkeep and some updates, this property could align more closely with the standards typical of the Delta brand.
