"Had a quick 1 night stay here after I missed the last ferry back to Powell River and everywhere else was booked solid. The hotel is adequate, but lots of noise in the room (incredibly noisy AC, and even when I turned it off could hear the neighbouring rooms' AC, road noise). Price was really high for what is essentially a basic hotel. Fine for a quick stop but not somewhere I would go on purpose."

"Thomas and Marla were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their stories about the property and info about the town. We certainly enjoyed the use of their (front and back) gardens, and the extra marshmallows with the hot chocolate at breakfast were appreciated. We would stay at Cedar Wood Lodge again!"
