10/10 Excellent

"The standout feature of this hotel is definitely the housekeeping. The entire property was incredibly clean. Our room was serviced every single morning without fail, meaning fresh towels and a tidy space to come back to after a long day out. Staff were all friendly and helpful. 🍽️ Food & Dining The food was exactly what you would expect from a standard 3-star establishment. It won't blow you away, but it was perfectly fine and we always found something decent to eat at every meal. The only real letdown in the restaurant was the dessert selection, which wasn't great. 🏊‍♂️ Pool & The Morning "Sunbed Race" The pool area itself is fantastic and a great place to spend the day. However, be prepared for the morning routine. The pool area opens at 10:00 AM, and every morning there was a sizable queue of guests waiting to dash in. People would immediately reserve the best loungers with their beach towels and then disappear, leaving them empty until the afternoon. It’s very frustrating if you want a sunlounger at the pool. We only spent one day at the pool because of this. Final Verdict: If you are looking for a clean, reliable, and well-located 3-star base in Salou, the Ohtel Belvedere is a great choice. Just set your expectations accordingly for the buffet desserts and be ready for the 10:00 AM sunbed rush!"

"The room is spacious and clean, although I found it basic. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, fortunately I had my own tea and went to reception where they gave me a kettle and 2 cups to use. The shower was enormous. The spa is a nice touch which we used, although the hot tub is quite slippery, so be careful getting in and out. I slipped off the step getting in a hurt my hip in the process. There are very limited parking spaces in the car park which you pay for and cannot book in advance but evidently parking in the streets is free. The hotel is only a few minutes from the sea front and is close to bars/restaurants"

"The hotel is very clean, and in a great location. I found the staff efficient and reactive to anything we needed. I would describe the staff as professionally friendly. I cant comment on parking, we took the bus, which I highly recommend. It was easily accessible right outside the hotel. Reading previous reviews I wasn't sure what to expect from the Food service, but I had a great experience. It was much better than I expected. If fact it was so good, I often preferred to eat at the hotel because the food was great. I think its a really challenging endeavor for the hotel because of how diverse the guests are. I found myself people watching what people ate for breakfast and it was a spectrum for sure. Dinner always had staple pizza (excellent), hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, and salad bar, and pasta. The person cooking always had fish, and rotated another option nightly (chicken fajitas, pork chop, grilled chicken, etc.) Then there was usually 2 different options on the buffet from the kitchen along with sides (rice, fries, potatoes, etc). I really enjoyed the mussels night, beef stew, and roasted pork. They also always had a different excellent paella every night. As a former vegan, it is not great for vegans. Again, I think they are trying to appease a diverse amount of ethic groups palates. Which is really hard to do. I found things a little underseasoned, but that is so subjective. Desserts were underwhelming, but I recommend taking an evening walk, and getting Gelato."

"We went during school trip times so as you can imagine full of spanish kids who have no manners. But apart from this. The staff were amazing and couldnt do more to help you or try to avoid the kids during breakfast and Dinner. Room was fine, a/c was alright. Food wasnt the best options but enough for a picky eater like me. Fresh fruit. Bread, pastries ect "

"Had a nice stay. However the pool was closed so that was a bit disappointing. And the tv remote was broken. It would have been nice to have a smart tv like most hotels do these days and the only two channels we could get were in Spanish. Otherwise everything was fine. Good location close to coffee shops and restaurants"
