Best vacation I ever had and I owe it all to Lynda at the Braemar. Fantastic place to stay. Near everything you need to see. Lynda treats you like a family member. She’s the best and so is the Braemar. The only place to stay in Falmouth.

Very satisfied

Fantastic location. Nicely presented and well maintained guest house. The kitchenette is also a bonus. The shower was a little tricky (cycling between scolding hot to cold) the first morning but worked well by the evening

Lovely, clean B&B

Braemar B&B is delightful and the owner Lynda was very welcoming and helpful. The room was an older style but it and the bathroom were impeccably clean! Big enough for two people with overnight bags. Breakfast was delicious and well set out. The house is a five minute walk from all the shops on the Main Street. It was a great place to explore Falmouth from!

Lovely family room, en-suite shower and surprisingly a well appointed kitchenette including oven, hob and fitted fridge. Just 5 min walk into Falmouth town meant we could leave the car in the handy private car park at the back of the property. Lynda and her staff were super friendly and helpful throughout, would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely stay

Room was very nice and a lot more spacious than we anticipated! Only slight issues which were there was food left over in the fridge which was out of date and seal on the shower did seep through water as well

Over priced and underwhelming. Don't bother. This is a £50 B&B at best charging 3 to 4 star hotel prices. I travel 80% of the time and this one is below par, especially since the owner is on hand and chooses to ignore requests. The location is walking distance from the harbour and restaurants if you're OK walking backnup hills. If you paid half the asking price you could take a taxi. No breakfast either. Mould in the bathroom, tiny shower that takes ages to get to a constant temperature that doesn't burn or freeze you. No iron or ironing boards, so expect to be wrinkly, owner doesn't respond to messages.

Cured me of my fears of the classic seaside B&B!

I wasn't sure what to expect as, when booking, it seemed a little pricey for a B&B (I paid £120 per night) but it was summer season and it seemed better value and quality than some of the other, supposedly more upmarket, hotels in the town that looked tired and old fashioned. From the outside, I was still sceptical but nevertheless, The Braemar's appearance was still much better than the rest of the street. On entering you are immediately reassured and it looks well looked after, contemporary and clean We received a very warm welcome and were given some helpful information about Falmouth to start off our visit. We stayed in room 6, a newly refurbished family room with a double bed and a single bed as well as a seating area and, much to my relief an immaculate ensuite bathroom. We had a quality flat screen TV in our room and free wifi (although that did keep dropping connection quite often, which could have been the fact that we were in the eaves or the bad weather). The beds were soooooo comfortable and the bedding crisp, white and snuggly! It took all out efforts to get out of bed in the morning for breakfast. Cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt were available and the cooked breakfast was beautifully done (as an ex chef, I'm pretty fussy!) and the waitress was friendly and efficient. No seaview but the location was really good for proximity to the beach and restaurants and they have a private carpark for guests which was really helpful. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Welcoming Stay

Finished walking a portion of the Southwest Coast Path. The Braemar staff let us check in early to leave our bags while checking out the town. The family room was spacious with a lovely sitting area and a to die for bathroom! Even helped me carry my large bag to the third floor.

I had a lovely night here, the welcome was so warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, she even went above and beyond and got in some salmon for my favourite breakfast which was so kind. The room was nicely decorated, with a nautical theme, and the smart TV was very modern and easy to use. Lovely x

Spartanische Minizimmer
