Staff was awesome. Now the motel itself is a mess. Room had sticky floors. Pool was not working. No ice machine bed skirt had sticky stuff all over it. No towels paid for a king smoking room got a full handicap non smoking room. Price was to be $55 a night. Got charged $77. Will not stay again. Star 3 was only because of the cute ladies at the front

Decent place for a last minute overnight stay. Rooms are large and beds comfortable . Hot water didn’t last very long in shower (5-6 minutes ) , bathroom heater didn’t work, alarm clock was unplugged and had to plug in and set time, didn’t try tv, microwave or pool , but fridge worked. Rooms are not the cleanest but for under 100 a night I’ll take it. Continental breakfast is only a couple cereals and some bread to toast , it’s not much. Best to bring your own breakfast .

The staff at Super 8 in Fernley were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They offered extra shampoo, conditioner, and soap and told me to let them know if I needed anything. The only thing I could suggest to make it better would be to get new pillows and try to whiten the sheets a little. Overall, it was very good and I would stay there again.

The property was conveniently located for our needs. There were not a lot of choices in the small town but thew facility was very clean. The furnished breakfast was very limited but there were other options located nearby. All in all, it was good and we had a comfortable nights rest.

This will be my go to hotel whenever I come to visit Fernley!! It was wonderful!! Loved the continental breakfast that was provided, everything was clean/fresh/and nicely presented! A Big thank you to all the staff working on Holiday and being open so I can rest at night after visiting family for holiday! Everyone was nice and welcoming!

Greeted immediately when i arrived 3.5 hrs before check in with a smile and told will call when room ready. Hour later she called, room was very clean, comfortable beds.Free breakfast ,Ice machine,Coffee. Micro, fridge, TV all worked fine. No pool yet. Will stay again!!!

Mixed feelings

This property appears to be in the middle of some renovations. In our room, new vanity and some painting have been done, but the quality of work comes up short. The painter had made an awful mess of things. The parking lot is in need of serious attention. The room was clean. We did not use the free breakfast. All in all, we would stay there again.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very different. Finding a used coffee pouch in the coffee pot was not a good find. Bathtub leaked, plus I think it was cracked.

Room Dirty and Repairs Needed

Check in process was easy n staff was helpful. Room however was in poor condition. Walls were dirty and had numerious patches. Bathroom tub was in terrible condition and hot n cold lines reversed. Breakfast was limited to cold cereal/instant oatmeal and toast.

Sheets were dirty and stained, the cleanliness was definitely not ther. There is a broken window to a room on the second floor. I let staff know and they were already aware.Woke up to people in the room next to me throwing things and fighting. Pool is closed. There was hot water and the AC worked. close to Walmart and fast food. Free coffee cereal and bread and granola bars for breakfast.

I was hauling a horse to Nevada so I had a horse trailer on the back of my truck. The facilities have good parking for trucks & rigs. Casino next to facility has good service for food and is clean. This Motel 8 is "old" but they seem to be trying to improve it. Bed was comfortable but pillows were SMALL like toss pillows. Lock on door was not working, which I told them about. Overall it was average for a lower end room.

Bed bugs. Shower didnt work and leaked inside wall and on floor. Door lock did not work 2 times and difficult to work. Parking was poor surface with big potholes (2'x2'x6"). Many concerning occupants with one caught headed for back of my SUV when i was loading with open door. Desk person was very nice and helpful.
