Rummet

Det verkar som om de som beställer rum på Whitans Värdshus får vänta längre på sina rum än de som beställer rum på Grand Hotel får vänta längre. När vi har beställt rum på Grand så finns det alltid rum även fast man kommer lite för tidigt men inte här. Fick tjata lite extra för att få rummet då vi skulle på Vallarna. Såg även att andra fick rum när de kom. Annars var allt till belåtenhet, frukost och mat på Grand Hotell är verkligen toppen!

Rum nr 53 hade väldigt höga trösklar in till toaletten och till tvättstället som man lätt snubblade på ( väldigt trångt). Vi fick ej bäddat eller städat när vi sov två nätter. Saknade spegel i rummet vid hårfönen, spegel fanns endast i toan. Ingen taklampa vi hade önskat en taklampa då vi drog för gardiner när det var konsert o folk satt precis utanför rummet. Endast sänglampor fanns.

Äldre stil på rummen men rent och fräscht. Rymligt: en avdelning med dubbelsäng, en avdelning med enkelsäng och två badrum ( perfekt om man reser med en tonåring). Vattenkokare: tepåsar o kaffe fanns på plats.

Hvitan är inte något man återvänder till

Långt ifrån handikappanpassat, mängder av trappor till rummet. frukost i annat hotell. ingen service i boendehotellet. sunkigt golv i duschen. Tv med 4 kanaler 1,2,4,kunskapskanalen och dessutom dålig bild (grynig) wifi nedladning mellan 18 och 32. Detta är knappast vad man förväntar sig av ett hotel i denna prisklass.

Slitet. Inget återbesök.

Ett gammalt och slitet hotell. Det fanns vattenkokare med kaffe å te i pappersmuggar, men ingen mjölk. Inget balsam i duschen. Restaurangen på Grand var bra. God mat, bra frukost, trevlig personal. Vi kommer inte bo på detta hotell igen. Det behövs en renovering!

Slitt i kantene, men midt i sentrum

Kjempefin beliggenhet langs vannet og rett ved sentrum. Men hotellet er åpenbart av eldre dato, lite trykk i kranene og litt tungvint å måtte gå på Grand for å hente nøkler og spise frokost. Veldig varmt på rommet til tross for at det ikke var kjempevarmt ute…
