A Gem in Falaise

We were greeted by the owner who was a delight as was the hotel. It was very clean and new. The idea of converting the original stables into lovely guest rooms was brilliant. The breakfast was also excellent.

Falaise Stopover

Very relaxed stay in peaceful surroundings. Lovely friendly hosts who couldn't do enough to please. Coffee machine available any time of day. Highly recommended.

Quality Chambre d’hotes in Falaise Stable

Novel experience having Bed&Breakfast in former stables. The refurbishment had been done to a high standard with attractive decor. A delightful French breakfast with croissant, bread, cheese, and jams. We liked the fact that car parking was behind security gates. Only booked for 1 night, but would happily have stayed longer. Would recommend.

The communal outside seating areas are well spaced, and there is a separate breakfast room, where you can sit indoors to eat breakfast, allocated with every bedroom, which we loved, as we really don’t like communal breakfast times. There is coffee and tea etc on tap with fresh croissants/pain au chocolat, plus a baguette and brioche supplied fresh from thé boulangerie every morning, and a fridge stocked with milk, yoghurt, cheese and butter. The owners are very helpful, and the B&B is located a short walk from the historical sites, museums, brasseries, restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely modern but quirky building ( old stables) beautifully renovated Owners very welcoming Great location particularly if like us just off the ferry. Portsmouth to Caen Walking distance to historic sights (William the conquerer birthplace and castle) Breakfast excellent Can’t recommend this highly enough

Excellent!

Really lovely stay - even though we were leaving really early to catch the ferry, the owners still went out of their way to provide a takeaway breakfast for us, which was fantastic service. Put this hotel in a bit UK city and it's easily £250 a night

This establishment is a newly converted stable block. It had been done to perfection. Every detail has been thought about. Not to be missed when visiting Falaise.

Quirky place for accommodation, Falaise is nice.

Great reception/check-in, parking on site, good rooms, good breakfast (in your own former horse box). Quirky, to be recommended. Helpful with restaurant recommendations. We did Jardin, which can also be recommended. Falaise nice town. All of it, for us it worked very well. Thank you.

endroit est magnifique et en plein centre ville. Joliment rénové avec goût et modernité. L’accueil des propriétaires est très agréable et ils feront tout pour être au petit soin pour vous. Très bon petit déjeuner. Je n’ai pas eu le temps de profiter du spa et de la piscine. Parking gratuit et pratique.
