Lovey people, from the reception desk to the cleaning staff, everyone is so friendly and polite, great pool area and bar, plenty of sun beds. nice breakfast.

Great Stay!

Very clean hotel with a lovely pool in the center and close to the beach. The gentleman in the reception was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was also great. Will definitely stay there again

Nice Stay.

Hotel was fine for a couple nights. Everything was clean enough for our stay. Pool is very nice. Location is perfect. Breakfast was good. We really loved the area and would stay again.

Perfection in Matala

From arrival till departure this is a perfect holiday. Professional and friendly service in every area of the hotel, reception/manager, the cleaners and bar/breakfast staff. I've stayed in numerous hotels in Matala but in my opinion Zafiria will always be my number one choice.

The hotel was perfect walking distance to the beach and all restaurants, we had a nice big patio and beautiful sunset. Breakfast wasn’t the greatest but that’s okay everything else was great esp for the cheap price of the room. Pool area was nice too

Zafiria is an average hotel located in a very touristic area, which is the only reason for it's baffling longevity. The room was small and the swimming pool was right outside our window door. Now that was awful. The breakfast at the hotel was probably the worst we've ever seen. The buffet was poor to say the least. On the other hand, the hotel staff was very polite and helpful, which was refreshing!

Great location- mediocre room.

Location was perfect for easy access to the area. Parking was surprisingly easy knowing the area but it is a small lot so I could see it being difficult at times. What I am most disappointed in is the room location. It was on the backside of the hotel next to the swimming pool so no great view. I asked and rooms facing the street with balconies are not available on hotels.com, they must be booked through the property directly. The photos are a little misleading. If you’re okay with a small room and no view but a great location, then this place is not a bad option.

Greece at its best.

Typical Greek hotel, a little dated but very pleasant staff, the hotel really suited the location, we had fantastic views of the beach and caves. The cost of the holiday is value second to none. I loved it there and I'll definitely be returning.

It was very convenient to walk to everything we needed. Unfortunately we had a room across the road & it was above their coffee shop, so it was noisy early in the morning. The shower needs attention as we were unable to attach the shower head so had to shower with one hand. There was a fridge in the room, but no kettle. Breakfast was included, but very basic.

Free parking should be removed as an amenity. There is one small parking lot that holds about six vehicles and the front desk told me that they don't verify if the cars parked there are guests of the hotel. When we went to leave, there was a car blocking every other car in the lot. I spoke to the person at the front desk and they said it was the owner of the hotel and he would tell her to move. When she did, she walked right by us and didn't apologize as if we weren't there waiting to get our car out. Afterwards, the owner of the mini mart across from the hotel came out and wanted to move his car (which was also blocking people in) into our spot. He seemed very annoyed that we were taking a while to load our luggage into the car and getting situated to leave. In short, it seems that the parking lot is being used for employees or random people going to the beach; it's not really reserved for guests. Plan on parking very far away.

Hôtel très agréable dans l’ensemble. Seul le petit déjeuner est à compléter. Trop répétitif et produits bas de gamme. Il suffirait de quelques détails. Jus d’orange de qualité par exemple.

O quarto estava limpo, o pequeno almoço ficou aquém das expectativas. Os clientes é que levantam a mesa do pequeno almoço. Colaboradores não falam muito bem inglês.
