I came up just to ski at Jay Peak and get away for two nights. The surrounding area is beautiful and so is the property itself. The house and property are gorgeous, the rooms are super cozy and the common areas have some great snacks and drinks for people staying there- it's like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The included breakfast that I had on the second morning (left too early on the first) was delicious, and the couple who run the place were super friendly and accomodating. They gave me some great recommendations while I was in the area and I loved every minute of my stay there! Highly recommend!

Beautiful views from the property, Room very clean, lots of windows for natural lighting. Shower had extremely good pressure. Breakfast was delicious. Owners were friendly and so pleasant. They were a great resource for the history in the area. Would recommend and would return in the future.

It is alway just a good feeling when someone takes the time to post a positive review. Anger is a great motivator, but reacting to a positive experience isn't usually as strong an emotion. So thanks so much. Very much appreciated.
The owners were great!! Great breakfasts made by the owner, Jacquie. Delicious! Easy access even after hours. Very quaint, gorgeous place! Would highly recommend!

Thanks much. Didn’t see your posting till now so am sorry for the delay.
the property was immaculate. the inn was so interesting with all sorts of unique antiques. the hosts were exactly the kind of people to be sponsering a B&B. Also, Jackie is a great breakfast maker! Will definately go back.

Thanks Bonnie. It is always rewarding when we see our efforts have been seen and appreciative. Hope to see you again.
Lack of WiFi a real problem. Not just at the inn. I’m the whole area. GPS does not work. Hard to get around.

Thanks Gayle. Actually we have better than average from a below average provider. Now and then our modem kicks off and needs to be rebooted. Had anyone mentioned it to us we could have fixed it in minutes. Otherwise Vermont does indeed sometimes present challenges for the GPS.
Dark unlit room with very little space. Light breakfast. Owner used the frozen waffle bag as an ice pack on her injured dog.

Not sure how to respond. My wife has no memory of using ice on Grover (who by the way is fine). If she had it would never have been in view of a guest. No frozen waffle bag could have been used as we have never had frozen waffles in the house. All rooms have at LEAST two bedside lamps and a wall lamp plus large windows. In 34 years no one has ever before made such a comment. (look at the room photos and see for yourself). Dozens of past reviews have uniformly raved about our breakfasts. So yes, I am confused, yet sorry this guest was unhappy but simply don't know what we could have done to please him/her
Brad and Jacqi are wonderful and gracious hosts, as well as superb chefs. They have created an inviting and comfortable atmosphere that begs you to stay longer. I have stayed several times and look forward to my next visit.

Thanks Julie. Very kind words - and most appreciated. We do try !
Comfortable room in beautifully maintained old New England farm house. The hosts and their four-footed family were friendly and easy-going. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed.
This lovely farmhouse has a beautiful setting, nice, quiet place with a beautiful pool, and the breakfast was superb! We enjoyed meeting the other guests, and, especially appreciated the owners’ kindness

My dad used to say that a pat on the back is only six inches from a kick in the pants. So thanks for the pat. Even after all these years, we enjoying doing this. Hope to see you again. Brad
We enjoyed the quietness and rural location. It was a few miles to the sites we wanted to see, but not overly far. The staff was friendly and the room accommodations were tastefully decorated and clean.I would recommend this BNB to anyone.

Thanks Laura. My father used to say "A pat on the back is better than a kick in the "pants." So thanks for the pat !
We spent 5 nights at the Inn and it was relaxing and low key. We did some WFH and some vacation days. We
met other fabulous guests and had great breakfasts. Jackie had great food recommendations and we loved visiting Burlington and St. Albans. Unfortunately, while the pool was inviting we didn’t get a chance to swim. Maybe next time.

Thanks Tracy. It was a pleasure to have you with us and do hope to do so again. This time with a swim included. Enjoy the rest of the summer.
Wish you had asked. If so we could have told you there is one in the top drawer of each dresser. If if in fact there was not one, it means the last guest in that room took it. Thanks.
Great place! Quiet, very clean and extremely hospitable. I’ve already recommended it to my friends. True Vermont feel in a beautiful country setting. Price is more then reasonable.

Beautiful place with unique pleasant like being at home vibe. Hosts are very nice and friendly, breakfast is freshly made by the host in the morning and very tasty. Beautiful nature around this place especially fascinating in the morning. We will definitely come back here again.

Thank you Victoria. We enjoyed having you guys. Hope your drive back to PA was smooth. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed about developments in Europe.
Pulling up to the inn, I was truly delighted. With a big grin and a twinkle in my eye, check-in was very easy. The room has everything you need and little extras are all around the property. Foliage room is on the 2nd floor and has a king bed, very comfortable!
Breakfast with a few strangers was refreshing (and also delicious).
Pets on the property are friendly and sweet.

Thanks Joanna.I had an uncle who used to say that a pat on the back is only 6 inches away from a kick in the pants. It is definitely more rewarding when we get the pat rather than the kick.
