Casitas at Capitol Reef

"We absolutely loved our stay here! We had three separate casitas for our group, which worked out perfectly and gave everyone their own space while still feeling like we were all together. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and felt incredibly safe. The kids loved being able to ride their bikes around and have the freedom to explore without us worrying. The location was also perfect for exploring Capitol Reef - only about 15 minutes from the visitor center, so it was incredibly convenient while still feeling quiet and tucked away. It was the perfect home base for our family and made our trip so much more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"I recognize that Hanksville is central to every where and close to no where. I am amazed that there are any places to stay in this small town. When I visited I usually say at the Whispering Sands Hotel. From the outside the hotel doesn't look like much. However, the rooms have been remodel and are very good. It has a good set of TV channels and the Internet is really fast. The rooms are clean and well kept. What I like is there is a desk and chair there where I can set up and use my laptop. The area is very quiet and there is an excellent burger place next door. The burger place claims to have world famous shakes, they are good. They have a small pack-n-do breakfast which I appreciate. However, there is no pool or exercise room. When I return to Hanksville, I plan to stay at this hotel."

"Quaint B&B inn near Capitol Reef National Park. We upgraded to the Pinion room--very comfortable with nice view of the reefs. Owner Sean was very hospitable and helpful with suggestions for our half day in the Park. Cant see the rest of thescreen so I cant write more."

"Wonderful room for our family. The facility has high end features. Work out center is very nice and has showers with all of the amenities. The restaurant/bar isn't built yet but that didn't matter as the town is close and has sufficient options. I would stay here again."
