「A modern bathroom in a 14th century hotel was definitely not expected. WiFi worked in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient. 「The Bath Hotel and the Lynmouth town are delightful. The hotel, the town and the local people are quirky, chatty and friendly. We arrived in Lynmouth as the Steampunk parade was shutting down. The people were very friendly and willing to tell us all about the parade and its history, and to recommend places to visit. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful. It is certainly a great place to stay.」

「The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. 」

「Conveniently located ,my room was clean and modern. Breakfast was good. My only gripe was that although it is common with hotel chains for breakfast to be extra, when staying in a Bed & Breakfast I expect Breakfast to be included in the price when booking and not as an extra. The sign above the door says Bed &Breakfast and that’s what I expect when I book.」
