A really characterful pub right in the centre of Exeter, with lovely rooms above, all staff were friendly and the place was very clean. I would definitely stay again.

This was a great spot to stay on our first night in Exeter! It's right in the center of town so you're really close to everything. There's also a pub downstairs/next door which was convenient. We had a minor plumbing issue the first night, but the hotel was able to take care of it. I would stay here again!

A little slice of history

Fantastic little gem, in a beautiful historic building. Staff worked incredibly hard to welcome me and make my stay a pleasant one. Would definitely stay here again if I need to visit Exeter

Bucket list item complete

Bucket list stay above an old pub. The room had lots of personality complete with crooked floors and funky tiling in the bathroom. Required a good hike up steep and narrow stairs, but staff willingly carted my luggage up and down for me. Attentive crew and flexible with storing my luggage after check out. Not for someone looking for ultra modern - this is a very old building, which is part of the appeal. Beside a popular part of town, expect noise. The pub itself was great, excellent service, pints and food.

What a fabulous, quirky venue. We’ve booked and going back in October. Staff absolutely lovely, especially Anna. My tip is don’t book room 2 if you like to sleep with the window open, but otherwise all just lovely and near the train station too

The Turks Head is a lovely place to stay - it's very clean and comfortable and the staff really friendly, welcoming and polite. However, there is noise from from the pub and this could be unsettling for some guests.

Great find in the centre of Exeter. We loved the room and the pub downstairs. The bed was a little on the small side but room was cosy and quiet considering it’s in a pub!
