"Hotel was nice but not special. The furniture was run down but there was a lot of space in the junior suite. Pool was ok but not great and no beach view. I also requested an ocean front and hot ocean view. Wouldn’t stay again despite location is right in the center."

"Overall a nice experience but be careful of Oceanview and Oceanfront. Oceanview is the lower tier and will yield you a view of the back of the harbor (dirty) and parking lot. The ocean sits on the left but you have to be at the rightmost corner of your window."

"I had reservations for 4 people. I didn't like that they tried to charge me more $$ than my reservation. I think it is a Hawaii thing, because the Hotel in Kona AND Thrifty Car Rental also tried the same shenanigans. I liked the view, and I loved that the beach and the zoo are in close walking distance. ..."
