The property was convenient. But it was very noisy at night. Hammering and banging at 2 o’clock in the morning. We were cold in bed and found a spare duvet which we put on the bed but if did not make much difference. No phone or tea coffee making facilities. The room was clean but very shabby. We ate at the hotel and although the choice was limited the food was good. Reception staff whdd ed n we arrived were very friendly. Breakfast choice was not great very limited. No eggs. Just on red selection of cold meat and cheese. We thought for the price it should have been better.

Noisy. Could hear people in the corridor. Talking in other rooms. 2 lights didn’t work. Dirty surface in the bathroom. Paint chipped and bashed. Breakfast was very disappointing - choice and drinks. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. Booked due to 24 hours reception which it did have. Staff were really nice

Cheap for a reason!
Cheap hotel that looks ok in photos, but very disappointing in real life. Room was plain filty. Wee on toilet seat (despite having the clean seal), half used cigarette pack on top of cupboard, stained towels and black hand prints all over toilet door. Didn't expect luxury at this price but I expect clean. Also tax charge higher than stated on booking. Won't stay again!

Very good service!
Service was fantastic. Staff was always available to help. Breakfast and meals were great with good selection and quality. However the bed is the room was not comfortable at all and the hotel is kind of noisy but that's probably because of the guests and not because of the staff. I will still recommend this hotel.

Great value
Great value hotel, and a good nights sleep. 24 hour reception a bonus .Only a few parking spaces around hotel so had to park a short dustance away.No real hardship and would definitely recommend the hotel .

I stayed twice for a journey through France and back. I have dogs and was alone so didn't eat as didnt want to leave the dogs in the room alone. However the beds are excellent, comfortable and clean white linen. Shower is hot and a good size. Plenty of parking. Staff very friendly and helpful, i checked in without problems after 11pm as got stuck in traffic on the first stop over. Flooring is laminate so it is clean and having the dogs beds and bowls on the floor didnt create any mess. Would certainly stay again. If travelling from the South of France follow signs for la madeline as you approach Evreux and the hotel is easy to find.

Our second stay and probably our last. Both times the restaurant and bar was closed. After a long journey we had to get back in the car to find somewhere to eat. Room basic and fairly clean. Bed comfortable

Nice to stay but difficult to access from south
The room was on the first floor and was very comfortable and clean but there was no lift and getting suitcases through a door, up the stairs and then another door was tricky. Impossible with 2 cases I would think

Was very disappointed on arrival to find restaurant wasn’t open at the weekend. There was nothing on hotel.com website to indicate that this was the case. Later we also discovered that the bar was also closed at the weekend. Very strange!

Renovation is a disappointment
The hotel has been taken over and recently renovated. We were disappointed with the quality of the renovation. The room seemed more cramped as they have removed the full bathroom and installed a cubicle with a walk in shower, basin and toilet. There is no fan in the shower room and they have used the original door which was old and chipped. The biggest problem with the shower room, is that the light switch for the shower room is located at the back of the room beside the toilet. You have to lean over the toilet to switch on the light which is hardly a safe place to have it. Also if you need to use the toilet during the night you need to switch on the bedroom light to be able to find the bathroom light which is not so good for your partner who may wish to remain asleep,. The shower flooring is of poor quality and becomes very slippery yet there is no hand grab rail. The bedhead is the original old one and was damaged at the bottom. In the room there are only 2 sockets which are taken up with the tv and the kettle. Most guests need to charge their phones/laptops in their room or. Having such a lack of sockets in this day and age is inadequate. The lighting in the room is poor. The toilet was unclean and there was lot of dust behind the entrance door plus a large squashed spider on the wall. On the plus side the beds are comfortable and the linen nice and clean, the staff are very pleasant and helpful, the parking is good and the area is safe.

Stayed here before several times. Refurbishment has improved the hotel greatly. Nice decor, comfy bed, good bathroom new fittings. Very clean. Some welcome small touches.( Fluffy white towels, tissues, water, tea and coffee making facilities).All a pleasant surprise, especially after experiencing shabby,dirty, hotels whilst travelling through France recently.

About 4h from Dover and eight from the Midi. A good night's stopover. I made a mistake in booking for the wrong night and the receptionist changed it over the phone right away. Recommended.

Kyriad booking changed to Comfort Hotel .
I booked with Kyriad in Jan. as part of our annual pilgrimage to Spain. Our sat-nav directed us to the correct postcode- but no Kyriad! After touring the area both by car and on foot round an industrial estate with no one to ask as it was a Sunday we eventually went in to the only hotel in the vicinity. It was the Comfort Hotel and when asking where the the Kyriad was we were furious to be told “ this is it”. No Notification or signage to indicate. I blame Expedia and Kyriad for that! We were then told that the restaurant was closed on Sunday and it said so on their web site. Whose-Kyriad or Comfort. It involved getting into the car and driving to the centre. Usually the chain hotels have eating facilities near them!
