Choose from a variety of activities at this complex located in Zadina Pineta, a nature reserve near Cesenatico. Cesenatico is a pretty port town in the Emilia-Romagna region of the country. Few places such as EuroCamp offer such a variety of sports activities and have accommodations as well.

EuroCamp comes alive in the summer when it hosts numerous camps including soccer, volleyball, karate, basketball, gym, cheerleading and dance. The site also becomes the venue for international sporting events. There are schools for sailing, orienteering, Nordic walking, astronomy and cooking, among other sports and hobbies.

Attend activities that take place in a well-equipped auditorium or on indoor or outdoor basketball courts and soccer fields. The 75,000-square-foot (7,000-square-meter) beach has soft white sand famous in this area of Italy.

Accommodations for up to 500 people are available at the complex. The camp’s self-service restaurant is a great spot to meet people and make plans for sports activities. Relax on the private, lifeguarded beach equipped with sun lounge chairs and umbrellas or go on fun and educational excursions. Supervised trips visit places such as the Cervia Salt Flats, Gradara’s Enchanted Hill and the Fortress of Cesena.

While you are in Cesenatico, view the photogenic Leonardesque Canal that may have been designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Something interesting is always happening on its banks and on the town’s streets lined with notable architecture. Have a picnic while relaxing in the shade of trees in the large Levante Park. Walk on summer evenings through the town markets, which have different themes for each night.

Cool down at the waterpark Atlantica Cesenatico with its water slides, wave pool, body boarding and river tubing. Cycling from EuroCamp to town is a pleasant trip, with special consideration made for bikers. Cesenatico is the hometown of cycling superstar Marco Pantani.

In addition to school and sports teams, EuroCamp hosts religious groups and athletic federations. Contact the camp for detailed information.
