"This property is a bit hard to review because it's a mixed bag. It is very old with a distinct 70s vibe—it felt a little musty and is nothing fancy at all. It wasn’t perfectly spotless, but it seemed okay. However, our suite was absolutely huge and featured a great back porch overlooking the woods. Having morning coffee out there with the birds chirping in the trees was a massive highlight for me.
The bathroom had some great surprises, too. There was a huge, deep ledge near the shower which was awesome for holding all of our shower stuff—usually, hotels never give you any room for that! Plus, the water pressure was amazing. That shower was incredibly powerful, which is so hard to find in a hotel.
As for the amenities, paying extra for breakfast each morning felt like a lot, especially since free breakfast is so standard these days. On the plus side, the mini-golf area, air hockey, and pool table really added to the overall experience. Watching a movie while swimming in the pool at night was also an extra cool touch. Best of all, the hotel is super close to absolutely everything; most attractions are no more than 10 minutes away, making it incredibly easy to get to all the local happenings.
After getting to town and seeing all the other options available in the area, I'm not sure I would pick this hotel again, but it was perfectly fine for this trip.""
