Worth a stay

Friendly service, good food, hotel in good condition. Room small, but with a great view. Bathroom a little bit dated, but everything else fine.

This hotel is listed as having A/C, but it does not. The temperature was 35 degrees. Fridge in our room was not working. The restaurant basically is no longer open except for guests who request food. No menu to choose from. There was one 3 course option available the day we arrived. Hotel is under new ownership and is up for sale. Owners are doing minimum they need to do while waiting for a sale of the property. This used to be a nice hotel with great staff. Now it is an empty shell with one poor waiter doing the job of 5 people. I will not stay there again. They should not have the "Best Western" name attached to this hotel.

Excellent and spacious rooms

Very spacious and well appointed rooms. It would have been 5 stars all round but there was no bar or restaurant facilities available during our stay and the town centre is a Taxi ride away. Overall though highly recommended and I would definitely stay there again

Perfect in the quiet side of town. Near a few restaurants and a sweet bar across the street. Smoking rooms. Wonderful staff. I stay there to get over jet lag every year and then move on to friends in Germany

Komfortables Hotel

Needed a few repairs, tiles missing in bathroom, shower control missing, so the bath filled at the same time, basin plug jammed in outlet and toilet roll holder missing. Shame I didn't have my tool kit with me.

Adequaat

Everything perfect except that there seems to be a tradition of parties on Saturday night (well past 1 am on Sunday) and the noise gets through the walls even to the top floor, percussions being heard even through ear stops.

Geen negatieve indrukken.

Het verblijf was excellent. Heel goed ontvangst. Alles was goed.

Traditional hotel overlooking river

This large Best Western hotel is in the lower part of Eupen. It's a stiff walk up to the Upper Town, the rail station and most activities. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was given perhaps the best room despite paying a moderate Expedia price. This had a huge bedroom and bathroom, and balcony overlooking the junction of the River Weser and a heavily wooded stream. Most picturesque, ducks paddling past. Much of the decor was unmodernised 1970s. Fridge did not work, minibar list but no minibar. Traffic over the bridge was noisy. On balance a good choice.

Hotel in Innenstadt

On the first floor there is a conference room which can be used for festivities. If there is a party till late night and you are staying on the second floor, you´re basically out of luck. Otherwise a very nice hotel. I can only judge for a single room - it was spacious and clean. If you like to go direction Botrange and have no car, there is a bus stop really close to the hotel.
