「I chose this hotel through Expedia because it appeared to be a clean, affordable place for my family to stay while traveling to my husband’s grandfather’s funeral. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. After driving 10 hours, we arrived to a room that was filthy. There was a strong urine odor, visible mildew and mold, bugs, and a toilet that had crystallized urine running down the sides and covering the toilet seat lid. The room clearly had not been...

「The Sage Cottage was so charming! The owner was very welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of! The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was plated for us and ready to eat when we came downstairs. It was a tasty traditional breakfast! I would stay here again!」

「The staff was great. The room was huge. I did not sleep well because the pillow was really bad. Location was great with nearby access to many places. There also was an odor we struggled with, but went to store and got air-freshners. 」

「The whole experience was exceptional. The cottage was lovely. The Baretta experience was great. We enjoyed fishing, golf and horseback riding as well. We will absolutely be back.」

「I booked a room a week before our trip. Get to the hotel, only to be told by the hotel staff that there was a “glitch” in the system and the room we booked was no longer available. They said we could take the room they had or find another hotel. Since we had driven 4 hours and it was late, we took the room and slept on the floor. The staff was not helpful or apologetic for the situation. Terrible experience!」

「Staff very rude, renovations happening, most rooms given to construction crew who were working and staying on-site. Older guests and business guests asked to climb multiple flights of steps without regard to heat or physical abilities. Very poor planning by management.」

「Not very clean. The restroom had lots of hairs around the bathtub and behind the door. The sheets were stained. The air conditioner worked great and parking was good. There was random chairs and furniture out in the halls so people sat around at all hours of the day and you could hear them. Breakfast was very basic and pool was closed. The receptionist was friendly. For what we paid, it was a good place to just sleep.」

「The hallways need to be painted and ice machines only had ice 1 day. Our room wall around the A/C unit need the gap filled in and painted. For the most part the beds were ok and the water in the shower was was hot.」
