The room was disgusting. There was someones old shorts under the bed skirt, and sweat stains on the mattress that were very visible through *hopefully* clean sheets. There was hair left in the shower. Cleanliness 0/10. I slept fully clothed, and actually looked around for bed bugs.
All that being said- the staff was pleasant, and we were in a pinch to find some where to sleep on a road trip, so we had to take what we could.... I wish we would have just kept driving.
Booked this hotel just a couple days before hand. Got to the site and...... Wait for it....it was closed out of business and I was charged and they charged a non refundable rate so guess I'm out bad business decision to rent out rooms but not be in business
The property has gone downhill are used to stay there for a long time but my son and I stayed there this last weekend everything was dirty sketchy people about the parking lot I think people are living there there was an even old car there. Spend an extra $10 and stay somewhere else
Stayed here on July 2020. The carpet was dirty, smelled bad, sticky, I couldn’t sleep because I didn’t felt safe. I picked this place just to sleep while in a road trip and since is so close to Oregon University I thought it was a “ok” area, but it was creepy.
The most terrible place that I’ve stayed so far.The supposedly non smoking room smells like cigarettes or the carpet is never been clean. The bathroom is terribly small and there’s hair from previous occupants. Flies in the room. Wall is so thin you can here everything like traffics, screaming kids that lives in the property and the fighting outside where the police were called. They should update their photos in the website because it’s deceiving. This is terrible hotel/motel.
A frat party was going on in the room next to mine even though I talked to the desk about being away from the street noise, and police arrests. The party went on until 5:30 AM. The room was worth less than what I paid. I do not plan on coming here again.
I have left amazing and supportive previous comments For this hotel as we spent many many nights here last fall for work. I was shock and saddened by my stay this time. The parking lot was full of cars, some were missing a window. One car a man had the hood up and was actually repairing his car in the lot. The police came and were there over an hour for one room and each time I went to my car there were room doors open with people congregating in them. At night there were people fighting and yelling all night and I slept very little. The drain cover was off the shower and it was like a big open hole and I cut open my toe. The toilet was clogged when we got it and it never was fixed. It felt more like a slum apartment complex then the cute safe motel I had frequented many times. The girl at the front window was rude as I couldn’t hear one word she said and charged us 12 to come early. I explained I had to go to a earlier appointment for work and had my MIL in the car if she could go to our room early.
People were obviously living in many rooms and kids were riding bikes and scooters and going from one room to the next. There was also so much cigarette smoking everywhere.
I was so sad to tell my husband of our favorite motels changes. I don’t know if I would go back. We stay in Eugene 3-4 times a month for work
The manager Sunny is amazing !! He goes anouve and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed . Pristine customer service!! Definitely will recommend to anyone loking for a comfortable and happy
Staff is very accommodating and friendly however upon entering the room the scent of undeniable urine and Body odor hit us in the face.we had to open our doors and windows to really even get air thst didn’t offend. We asked for Febreeze and got Lysol. It was almost like the bedding had the smell imbedded and needed to be replaced. On top of that there was a pair of someone else’s eyelashes left on the mirror. Pretty sure the room hadn’t been deep cleaned in any way prior to our reservation.
Rooms where ok untill wife was in shower and discovered she had a tick on her stomach and was latter discovered that it came from bed

Don't believe the photos of this place.
The online photos of this hotel are extremely outdated and misleading. Had the photos been honest about it's condition, we would not have stayed there. It's just an old property. They have tried to update the rooms with new carpet and nicer furniture, but the room is small, the bathroom tile old and the parking lot is old, dirty and littered with cigarette butts and other trash. We really did not feel completely safe. It said it was a "no smoking" property, but there were people sitting out in an area by the office smoking filling that area with the aroma of cigarettes when you walked by which we didn't appreciate. If it's "No Smoking" then it should be "No Smoking." The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the sheets and blanket on the bed were old and thin. The top cover was nylon and cheap. It really felt like this place should be completely renovated inside and OUT to remain in operation. Sorry - we were only there one night and there was no refund, so we stayed and had a decent night's sleep. The A/C was very quiet thankfully because it had to be on all night.
The room was filthy and it stunk terribly. When I laid down on a pillow, you could smell the distinct odor of cat pee. The floor had a greasy feeling to it, so I kept my shoes on every time I got up. The shower head was so broken I was afraid to take a shower to break it more and get charged for it. I know it was a cheap room, but other cheap rooms have been amazing. Cheap does not have to equal unsanitary.

All the staff at travel lodge are very kind. They took good care of us duringy our 1 and half to 2 week extended stay. We will definitely be going back there soon, and definitely going to insist to all friend’s and family that they give travel lodge A shot as well. Especially during a time of Krizz
