「Staff were really nice and accommodating. When I wanted to switch rooms, it was no problem. Really appreciated that they were ok in me doing so. They also put a mini fridge in my room when I asked, but unfortunately I never did get a key to the safe. The rooms are bit ‘tired’ and could do with a refresh. But they were clean. Location is directly across from the lagoon, which was beautiful and full of flamingos. Overall a pleasant stay.」

「Das Personal war sehr nett. Frühstück war super und nett aufgebaut. Das Zimmer war gross. Leider fehlte die erste Nacht die TV remote und der TV ging dauernd alleine an - wurde aber schnell geklärt. Das Bad war leider eher weniger gut. Der Spiegel war dreckig und das Plastik drumherum lange nicht geputzt. Die Dusche hatte an der Decke viele Stockflecken. Die Metallteile der Dusche selber waren dreckig, kalkig und alt. Die Lodge heisst eigentlich Long Beach Hotel. Und es ist auch eher Hotel...

「Die Lage ist einmalig, die Zelte eher spartanisch und ohne Klimaanlage. Das Essen über 6 Jahre sehr konstant und ausgezeichnet !」

「It was a huge breakfast with lots of options, hot and cold. Hot breakfast was made to order. Even though we had early morning excursions and an even earlier morning departure David was up and ready to serve whatever we wanted. David also took the time to help us choose excursions that were perfect for us. When my husband left his phone in the van on one of our trips David went and picked it up for us. Could not ask for better service. 」

「This is a hidden gem… a beautiful hotel clean rooms and lovely staff The hotel is right on the beach in Long Island, this is between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay Anita and Dulcie were amazing hosts and perfect concierge services for all the activities.」
