"While generally clean enough, the property does not let visitors know in advance that: a) their room will not have a TV; b) the rooms do not have cell service; c) the room has no desk; and, d) most of the rooms require a walk up a hill so steep that it required two "back-and-forth" paths. In addition, computer problems screwed up check-in such that after walking up the big hill, my key didn't work because it was for the wrong room. "If you are looking for a hotel outside the usual chains, this is a great choice. We stayed for one night with my daughter and it was overall excellent. The hotel is the only one in town, it is on Main street. The town is small but the surroundings are beautiful, rolling hills, forests and lakes. The courtyard and lobby were welcoming and nicely decorated, the staff very helpful- the evening desk manager gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Frank's place a few minutes away.
