"Our check in could be described as perfunctory boarding on the brusque . Upon arrival and pressing the bell we waited a few minutes and someone came along. Didn’t introduce himself or even say “ Welcome etc”, just “what is your name, then your room number is, handed over keys and asked about breakfast. We weren’t even told about the residents lounge ( which we discovered the next morning - a bit too late by then). Rooms were moderately clean, with a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the ceiling...

"This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at on ourceay back from st. Tropez the hotel was really lovely and the food exceptional the onlt problem wad itvwas a long way off motorwau would recommend to snybody."

"Nous avons été accueilli tres chaleureusement avec un bon verre de jus de pommes maison ! Nous avons eu de beaux échanges sur l'histoire de Soulosse et bien d'autres sujets ! Le petit déjeuner " Maison" Nous a fait regretter de ne passer qu'une seule nuit ! Merci grandement aux hotes si sympathiques ! Nous recommandons fortement cette maison d'hôtes!"

"On arrival we weren’t informed that the restaurant was closed and no bar facility. Town was handy. No coffee or tea facility in the room. Bed was comfortable."
