"Hotel Canto do Atlântico is listed as a three-star hotel; however, it does not meet even the minimum standards of hospitality. In its current condition, it should not be operating, as it resembles an abandoned property. Misleading information on Orbitz: Swimming pool: The pool is abandoned, with dark green water and a strong unpleasant odor. Therefore, there is effectively no usable pool. Food & Beverage: There is no bar, beach bar, lounge bar, or restaurant operating at the hotel. Transport/Shuttle: No shuttle service is provided to the airport or to the beach. Outdoors: The hotel does not have direct beach access; it is located approximately five blocks from the beach. There is no picnic area or terrace. There is no banquet hall. There is no direct beach access. Serious problems observed at the hotel: Water quality: The water from both the tap and the shower is yellow and smells like rust. It is not suitable for bathing or brushing teeth. Swimming pool: The water is dark green and foul-smelling, making it unsafe for use. All bed linens, sheets, towels, and curtains are stained and torn. Electrical outlets are loose and coming out of the wall. The hotel sign is falling apart. Light switches, door handles, walls, and common areas are extremely dirty. Breakfast: Cockroaches were found on the plates and on the floor. Conclusion: I do NOT recommend this hotel. I would rate it zero stars if possible. This property should not be open to the public. "

"It had everything to be great, but I was put in a room with moldy curtains that only a few days later I realized it made me and my husband sick which is really bad, specially because I'm pregnant. And the phone in the room didn't work, so I asked to be fixed and it never got fixed. Also on my last night when I was moved to another room because of the moldy curtains, I tried watching Netflix and the internet in the room wasn't working. These are my only complains for the place. Breakfast and location were really good."

"The hotel appearance was very nice decorated with replica furniture, out side pool area was nice and it was very close to the beach which is always a plus. Unfortunately it was a trek to the supermarket and restaurants , breakfast was almost non exsitant ,nothing was replenished , two occassions we arrived 9ish an the choice for me was a bread roll and semi cooked scrambled egg which was well runny . When we arrived we was given a room upgrade they said because our room was upstairs,but was not given the option to look at it ,we then asked where the safe was ,so they bought one to the room which i couldn't even fit my 11 inch tablet . The safe wasn't fixed ,and for me not sercure. For £90 (630 reias) a night I felt robbed . As advertised on you site ,multilingual ,not true only Portuguise . "

"Simplesmente a melhor experiência em todos sentidos, o Flávio super atencioso e cuidadoso, o Jhonatan deu ótimas dicas de restaurante e bares, todos os funcionários educados e prestativos, o café da manhã é maravilhoso, bem servido a mesa preparada para nós, fica pertinho da praia, ótima localização, piscina aquecida muito boa, a sauna é muito boa também, tudo exatamente como nas fotos, recomendo de olhos fechados, quem for certeza que não irá de arrepender, não vejo a hora de voltar."
