This hotel is stunning. The views of the river from the property were some of the best we experienced while in Ireland. The hotel is historic and you can feel the history as you walk down the hallways. The hot tub on the pool area balcony that was outside and had a direct view of the river was the best part of our stay. The room was gorgeous and I loved the dark and broody feeling of the blue rooms. The hotel bar and restaurant have direct views of the river and falls and were such a lovely treat to sit at.

The hotel was well presented, with great facilities, great location and generally professional staff. The spa and pool area are excellent. The food and service in the bar was extremely good. Breakfast was well presented, a good selection and attentive staff.

Ein schönes Hotel in einer parkähnlichen Anlage. Sehr imposant. Das Frühstück sehr lecker und ausreichend. Am Abend haben wir auch im Hotel - ebenfalls sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr nett und die Lage war auch sehr gut. Es gibt azsreichend gratis Parkplätze.

Lovely property near the cliffs of Moher. Quaint Main Street just a few minutes walk. Beautiful location on the falls/river with big bar and formal restaurant that overlooks the falls. While a historic hotel, the rooms have been updated with beautiful upholstery, furniture. Ate at bar first night overlooking the falls. Very good salad and burger with generous portions. Walked to Byrne restaurant/bar for after dinner drink and dessert. V nice place.

This is a beautiful property. The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable. The AC is not super cold, but being able to open the window can help. The pool area is great. the only thing someone could complain about is that they make everyone wear a cap whole swimming. You can spend a whole day just walking the property and the river walk. I was sad we didn't get to spend more time here.

Chambre non insonorisée, nous entendions la conversation téléphonique de la chambre à côté. VMC au dessus de la douche très sale avec des moutons de poussière Chambre petite et petite SDBsous les toits alors que mes parents qui avaient réservé le même type de chambre que nous avaient une très grande chambre et SDB. Dîner au bar excellent avec une très belle vue

Nice location with some character.Upper floor accessible by stairs....not fun with 50 lb. Luggage and a bad knee...this is after the climb up the hill and stairs into the hotel...per hotel photo, so that was expected. Dinner was another story...how can the chef overcook/bake a salmon dinner? I have purchased better cuts of salmon at Lidls grocery. I had to wash it down with two pints of lager. A quarter of that salmon was diseased sections...better hotels would not serve. Grounds walk after dinner was pleasant along the beautiful falls area... Room was ok for an old hotel, but was expected. Something was running around above the ceiling that had the wife concerned ...but again, it's an old hotel.
