Dear Henrik, Greetings from the Bürgenstock Resort. Your disappointment of the experience you have made is heard from us and we do indeed apologize that your expectations were not met. However, please kindly be informed that we have four wonderful and very unique Hotels of which Taverne 1879 is kept as a very traditional hotel with its' completely refurbished Chalet like rooms reminding on the traditional Swiss Alp tourism. Our rather luxury properties are equipped with everything you can expect from either a 4* Hotel like the Palace Hotel or our two 5* Hotels Waldhotel and Bürgenstock Hotel within the resort. The humid and warm weather indeed invites a lot of insects coming out of the beautiful nature sourrounding us. All guest areas are carefully checked and deeply cleaned with accuracy that there should be no occurence like the one you have experienced which is indeed to be sincerely apologized for. However, we cannot completely shield that there will be some aunts and maybugs and other insects coming out of the forest passing the lush gardens of the resort or our esplanades and do apologize for the inconvenience faced. We indeed invite you to spend the Bürgenstock Resort another visit to experience the great variety of services we have to offer. Our teams remain at your assistance in the meanwhile.
