Non professional attitude of hotel management
The hotel management is quite non professional. We have paid the hotel charges during booking but during our checkout time they were repeatedly asked for payment . The room they were given to us is not that what we have booked during booking time.

Very well situated hotel. In the center of the village with great view on the mountains. Calm place to walkable distance from the center and close to public transportation. Very nice and helpful staff.

Wow! Switzerland's Hidden Gem!
We traveled in October of 2021 to this beautiful country from the USA. This was the last night of a 12 day adventure for us. We stayed in 8 different hotels throughout Switzerland during our stay. The Bellevue was the most unforgettable. It was lovely and so friendly. The new decor in the rooms was amazing. Lovely presentation for the breakfast in the living room. It was delicious and freshly made eggs and bacon upon request. Do not miss this little gem of a place!

Decor, dog friendly, Delightful
The renovations and well thought our decor at this property speaks for itself. Whilst our 1 night was in low season the staff were attentive and happily met our needs. Even with the dog we were given a lovely corner room. The buffet breakfast had everything and hot food was cooked to order. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved it!
Loved this hotel!the staff were great and really accommodating! The hotel was clean, new and really cozy! The breakfast spread was delicious! Although we didn’t really fancy anything on their dinner menu, we went next door where they do burgers and delicious fries!they also do takeaway so we took it back to our room! We went for the junior suite which was lovely. Although it would have been great to have a direct uninterrupted view of the mountains, the views were breathtaking! The ladies did a really good job of keeping our room clean, which we appreciated after a long day! Everything around the hotel was very close, a convenience store, the train station, a souvenir shop and the burger joint. The cable cart was literally a 10min walk alternatively you could catch the bus from right outside the hotel!

Short winter break
Lovely 4 night stay with my husband and father . Very quiet due to time of year , helpful and informative staff , great breakfast with fresh produce . Location is perfect with the train station and bus stop directly outside .

Hotel room is clean & tidy but a bit too simple, towels isn’t soft enough maybe not enough softener, only shampoo, conditioner & body wash slippers supply. No shower cap, toothbrush, shavers.

Superb room superb view
I cant emphasize enough on the view the room offered! Gawd im not over it! The bed was super comfy, the bathtub was overlooking the window with the mountain/glacier view, room is big, lights were adjustable to how bright or dim u want them, breakfast has quite a good spread, staff were cheerful and helpful, there was 2 complimentary welcome drinks... I can go on more but.. I'll let u experience it for yourself! Superb for couples! Worth every penny!!

Great location; however, the room was small but recently remodeled. The design looks great but the functionality of the bathroom isn't very practical. Tiny sink causing water overflow and splashes...poor design choice.

Clean and nice looking, but horrible service and staff. Booked a babysitter in advance Which they “forgot” about and didn’t tell us about until checkin which resulted in having to bring the children to the wedding. No iron which I’ve never heard of - instead they charge you 8 CHF per shirt for ironing and it takes forever. No communication from front desk about anything. No room service or mini bar. I would not recommend staying at this hotel - way too many complications.

Great stay in refurbished hotel.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel-Bellevue-Terminus. The hotel has only recently been refurbished and everything is exactly as it appears in the photographs.The standard double room is large enough for two people for a few days. One minor drawback is that the double bed we had was really two single mattresses which had been pushed together.The double bed also has Scandinavian style separate single duvets, which may or may not be to your taste.There is a comfortable lobby area where you can relax around a fireplace and a secure area for leaving ski equipment.The location is ideal and offers views of the Titlis mountains, it is also located next door to the train station, opposite the ski shuttle stop and near to Engelberg's restaurants and shops.Breakfast was very good and available until 12 at weekends. Reception staff were polite and helpful, offering free bottled water and a luggage storage service. The only major problem we had was the service we received in the restaurant. On the first night we had to wait 10 minutes before being seated, and were only given a table because we asked directly for one. We then had to wait again for a menu. Perhaps another 10 minutes for our order to be taken and another 15 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Again we only received these because we went to the bar to enquire directly about them. Overall, great hotel, with the exception of the dining experience, stay there,but eat across the road at the Brasserie Konrad instead.

Great mountain views in all directions
Great hotel, very warm and comfortable. Nice decor and comfy bed! My room had a shower and a tub which is great to soak soar muscles after a day of trekking or skiing. I just wish there had been a little kettle or coffee pot in the room.

Stylish, friendly, next to the train station
Tastefully renovated and modernised without losing its Victorian charm, this hotel is extremely conveniently located, just meters from the train station, and about ten minutes walk (or two by bus) to the base station of the skiing resort. Staff are friendly, flexible, breakfast generous, prices very reasonable and the rooms spacious and comfortable.

Very stylishly renovated hotel in great location
During my stay, part of the hotel was still under renovation (until around November 2017 according to a sign), but there was no noise, and my room had already been renovated. The room was very comfortable and stylish, and the breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. The free WiFi was very fast. The location is excellent, right next to the train station, and there is plenty of free guest parking behind the house. Would stay again!

Perfect for traveling by train
Across from train station. Renovated top floor room faced the street and train station. After a long journey it was nice to not have to carry our luggage any further. . It was quiet in August so keeping the windows open for air was fine and the mountain and village view was great but the room would be a problem during a busier time due to the noise from the street. Ask for a renovated room that faces the back of the building for less noise, there should be a mountain view from the back as well. The room had a comfortable sitting area but the sleeping area, sink, shower and toilet were open to each other, would much rather prefer a wall and door to separate the complete bath area. Other people may like this new style renovation, it doesn't appeal to me. A separated bathroom is preferable, however, it was very clean and the hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Probably quite the night life in winter ski season, there is a club/bar in the building. But again it's Switzerland........so who knows, the Swiss are not known to be very wild but the tourists are another story.

Swiss getaway
The only negative is that there was no A.C. so the air could feel a bit stagnant - so you just have to let the mountain breeze in through the windows. Hotel staff, service, location, and the hotel itself are wonderful though and would still recommend!
