"Did not make bed my entire stay."

"Absolutely the DIRTIEST room I have ever stayed in. I could write a novel on how bad this place is but I'll try to keep it short. 1st room the freezer on fridge was completely frozen solid. Couldn't put anything in it and leaked all over floor. Asked to change rooms and after waiting 30 minutes got a new one which was worse. While waiting 3 other customers came and went trying to change rooms as the condition of their rooms was also unacceptable. NEW room SMELLED of urine and other unidentified scents. After unpacking I spilled a splash of juice on the floor and was appalled when I cleaned up with a wipe. The filth was disgusting. This room hadn't been mopped forever! Asked receptionist for a mop so we could clean it ourselves and he told us he didn't have one. After a pause he added they don't even give us one. 😮 Knowing it would ruin the towel we asked if should just use a towel to clean and he said I guess technically its okay. So we did. After photo attached. There was visible mold in the shower. The shower curtain rod was broken, sink faucet ready to fall off. Bedding stained. No ice available. This review comes from a couple who travel extensively and enjoy affordable simple rooms. We don't expect the extras. This motel however should be shut down by the health department."

"I don’t have a lot to complain about here. I called about an early check-in an half hour before arrival and the girl on the phone was odd-she wanted me to call her when I got there to check on the availability for early check-in. Not sure why I would call while I was there but a gentleman at the desk was very helpful when I got there. The room was clean. The “fitness room” is literally just a cardio room. There are 2 pieces of cardio equipment—nothing more. If you don’t mind that, I think you’ll like it. There was lots of parking available too. I stayed during Memorial Day weekend and I never had to fight for a spot. It’s also conveniently located close enough for a quick drive to the HarborWalk or to James Lee Park (public beach access with free parking) or to Henderson Beach State Park."

"Upon our arrival, no one was at the front desk and waited until a clerk arrived. There was a sign at the front desk that stated that someone would be back shortly but when he arrived he saw there were several people waiting and could have simply stated something like, sorry for your wait. Hotel was very cleaned, room was immaculate and had a great variety of breakfast options. The pool was closed on the first day due to an incident that occurred per a guest. The only issue was there were not many TV stations, normally NBC is my preference, BUT I enjoyed my stay and location."

"First, it is rude to speak another language with your coworkers when serving customers (I believe it was an Indian dialect). I speak Spanish and prefer to talk in private. The room was covered in mold, including the walls, ceiling, fridge, bathroom, and lamps. Also, the ceiling has water damage, which is causing the paint to peel. The bed sheets were worn out and needed to be replaced; the microwave wasn't working; and the fridge had a bad smell and wasn't cooling properly."

"The staff are always friendly here- the morning gentleman even let me in early and brought out bagels from the back because my fiancé and I had to hit the road for the airport before breakfast was open- SO kind! Always clean. My fiancé has major allergies and he did just fine, the hardwood floors help with that. I’ve stayed here twice, and this is officially my Destin hotel- I’ll stay here every time I visit."
