「The pool and hotub are both closed permanently. Also, there isn't someone working the front desk all the time. I saw 3 rooms that weren't cleaned with the doors propped open. Very dated. Also, continental breakfast was less than ideal. 」

「This seems like a newer hotel. It is not luxury, but it is clean, quiet, the rooms are spacious, and the beds were very comfortable (ESPECIALLY the pillows which weren't overstuffed monstrosities like many hotels have). There was tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate 24/7. The lobby isn't big, so if you were stuck in your room due to weather, you probably wouldn't go there, but I found the room large enough with lots of "tuck your luggage away" spaces, so it wouldn't feel too cramped if you were...

「The view was wonderful, and the staff was very helpful. There was a smoky odor in the room, either from the fireplaces in the other units or from the firepit outside. The floor plan of the bathroom in the third-floor room was odd. The open door blocked the sink. We had a little trouble figuring out the A/C controls, so the room was a little too warm. We greatly appreciated the free EV charging stations. They were never ICEd while we were there. We underestimated how tiring the 32 stair steps...
