"This was a tale of two hotels. On the one hand, we had some issues with our room (including wall to wall carpet being soaking wet and an odd smell. Clearly something was leaking somewhere.) On the other, the manager on duty was incredibly accommodating and moved us to another room quickly and easily. The positive was that this hotel was on the lower end of cost for hotels next to the airport. On the negative, it's showing its age. It really needs a bit of a renovation. So at the end of the day, I wouldn't recommend this as a place to stay, but it worked well for a quick one night adjacent to flying out of SLC airport."

"The hotel canceled our room reservation, and we were told we would need to pay extra for another room. The staff informed us that even if we had arrived on time, there would have been no room available because all rooms had been assigned to a tour group. The hair dryer in the room did not work. Although we were given a non-smoking room, it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The exhaust fan was not working, so the smoke odor could not be removed. There was also a strong moldy smell throughout the room. Housekeeping did not clean the room or remove trash for two days, so we had to deal with the accumulated garbage ourselves. Management repeatedly promised to address the issues but took little to no action. I would not stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others. The breakfast was average at best. Many items frequently ran out, and replenishment was very slow. Since many guests were on tight schedules, this was frustrating. I question the authenticity of some of the positive reviews. Based on my experience, I cannot understand why this hotel receives such high ratings."
