The front desk person was very nice and tried to be helpful, but I waited 20 minutes to be checked in (after a 14 hr drive), had to change the room (bring all my belongings up the the 4th fl and then back down since the room was wrong...and then back up again when the new room was assigned). Phone was dead (no dial tone) tv not functioning / broken and some lights not working. Front desk guy tried to help but could not fix anything. Oh well

I showed up after 3:30 p.m. and there wasn’t a clean room to be checked into, so we went and ate. Came back and was able to be checked in. The rest of the stay was fine until I checked by bank account the next day after checkout. I have two $20 charges (they told me I would be charged $20 for incidentals), a $91.89 charge, and two $111.89 charges. We checked out of the hotel three days ago and so far I’ve only been refunded $111.89 one time. I’ve called multiple times and still haven’t been able to speak to a manager! So I paid $146.22 on hotels.com for this room, and have been charged a total of $355.67 from Holiday Inn and reimbursed $111.89, leaving $243.78 outstanding.

Place wasn’t bad. We used the pull out couch bed for my youngest daughter. The mattress was literally split open on the side and super flimsy. The rest of the place was okay though

Some things are just not optional when you’re traveling….the air conditioner didn’t work, we were hot all night and that was miserable. The check in person charged us twice for incidentals. The continental breakfast was completely empty at 7:00. There was a used bar of soap left in the tub and the tub hadn’t been cleaned. 😑I expect more from Holiday Inn with the prices they charge. Unfortunately I think we will stick to the Hampton Inn hotel chains from now on.

Jerry the older guy working nights let it be very clear that we were an inconvenience to him when trying to confirm our reservation and then upon arrival as well not only to us but to everyone that he had an encounter with! We have stayed at many IGH hotels and have loved them however this was not a good experience at all and to be treated the way Jerry treated us is not acceptable! He even had one of his employees crying her eyes out in front of everyone! Jerry will be the cause of the El Reno location loosing money and guest who books quite often with!

The beds were terribly uncomfortable! The breakfast bar was missing a lot of food! We reserved 5 rooms so of them weren't cleaned during the day.
