The resort was absolutely perfect, the Service was outstanding. I really enjoyed the food, the hotel room with private pool is amazing as well as all other pools outside. The different restaurants were all amazing, cam recommend it to everyone.

The Service was absolutely excellent at all times. Our room cleaner (room 3002) was friendly and did an excellent job! Everyone provided a quick and wonderfull service, no matter if at the beach bar, Lobby Bar, Front desk, Main Restaurant, Special Restaurants, or room. We really enjoyed 11 days of friendliness, great food and quiet space. Only the Spa prices are too high (even for Steigenberger), and we do lots of travel for business and pleasure throughout the year to several different places around the world.

Great hotel.

Top service and top facility. Everything was perfect except for the food. Unfortunately, the Chef did not do a great job. My suggestion is to have less quantity but more quality. Special thanks to Tarek, the pool water; Adnan who cleaned our rooms every day and Mohammed who arranged everything at the reception. Shukran!

Nice location. New Hotel. Nice beach. Good food at buffet. Some good food at the very nice beach redtaurant. Hotel has 5 speciality restaurants however impossible to book as all restaurants are booked out. After heavy complaint we got two bookings. On the website it should clearly be stated that you may not get any bookings. Hotel was max to 50% occupeid. Wifi is very bad. In other hotels even at Abu Simbel wifi was a lot better. Hotel is very noisy. It starts at 10 AM with very loud animation. The noise ends only at 11:15 after the evening entertainment. English is to some extend very limited.

Marsa Alam Come Back

One of the newest resorts in the area of Marsa Alam only a few kilometres from the airport. Very spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with all the modern amenities. Great swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers around them as well as on the private beach - everyone can find a suitable spot to enjoy the sunshine. All inclusive formula with one open buffet restaurant called La Sultana and 4 a la carte (each dedicated to different regional cuisine). The quality of food in the main restaurant was good, however it can be improved in a la carte restaurants, particularly the hotel’s take-on the Italian dishes. Other facilities include a spa (worth visiting for its service and wide range of facials and massages) and a gym. Friendly staff throughout the hotel, although some waiters could work on their English language skills- some of them make simple mistakes after taking orders from customers, that can be a little irritating after a while. That being said, Steigenberger Alaya is definitely one of the best resorts in the area, worth choosing for one’s holiday on the Red Sea shores.

Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt! Das Hotel ist ausgesprochen sauber – von den Zimmern bis hin zu den öffentlichen Bereichen wurde auf jedes Detail geachtet, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und stets hilfsbereit. Man merkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns mit einem Lächeln erfüllt. Auch das Essen war ein echtes Highlight. Die Auswahl war vielfältig, die Speisen frisch und geschmacklich hervorragend zubereitet. Besonders das Frühstücksbuffet hat keine Wünsche offengelassen. Très bel hotel

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à l’hôtel Alaya. On y mange extrement bien; j’ai rarement vu un hôtel offrant une telle qualité dans un restaurant buffet, les pâtisseries sont magnifiques et tout est extrêmement goûteux. La chambre était belle et offrait une vue magnifique sur la mer. En revanche il faut faire attention car nous avons d’abord était emmené dans une chambre qui n’avait aucune vue mer alors que nous avions payé un supplément pour cela. Après une plainte à la réception nous avons pu changer de chambre immédiatement. On aurait apprécié que l’hôtel nous présente des excuses pour ce contre temps ce qui ne fut pas le cas. Il était dommage qu’une seule des très très nombreuses piscine soit chauffée. De plus elle n’était pas très très chaude, l’eau était plus chaude dans d’autres piscines du grand complexe Coraya. La plage est quasi impratiquable à cette période de l’année, trop de vague et trop froide. Aussi un accès gratuit à l’Aqua Park Coraya (accessible à pied) est possible. Cet endroit est très agréable et possède plus d’une dizaine de toboggans aquatique pour petits et grands.
