INCONSIDERATE STAFF - other stays have been enjoyable this one was deplorable. The staff doesn’t care about your $400 vacation. We arrived on Friday night and unbeknownst to us we were put directly under the rooms being renovated on the second floor. Saturday morning, when the constant hammering began, we understood and left the room we paid for, until 4.30. When we inquired about the constant hammering they said it would be done by 3:30 and had a sign stating as much. No such luck, no rest for me. When I complained, they wanted me to re-pack all of my belongings and move rooms. Trust me, this hotel was not full on Friday. Why would anyone be given a room directly under the floor renovation with constant hammering?? At 10 pm ( our time 2 am) a fire alarm set off, waking us from a deep sleep and sending us into the night air. No apology, no compensation, no attempt to let us know management realized they ruined my $400 vacation, and I’m a Hilton’s Honors member. Good luck, they don’t care about you or your vacation.
