"Even though the hotel isn't old, it's run down. It hasn't been looked after properly. Dirty walls, bathroom cleanliness ok, beds uncomfortable. There would a lot of renovations be needed to make this hotel attractive again. The staff is very friendly, especially the people from the reception. Breakfast is basic but yummy and made fresh for you. Location is very good!"

"It is a budget hotel but even so, the buit-in furniture was chipped and the bathroom had stains and was generally unappealing. There were two dirty mattresses against the wall in the hall. Nice swimming pool and good dinner menu. The breakfast was very basic. The man at the desk was polite, and arranged an "uber" to the station. It was an unwashed car but got us there. "

"Pleasant riad with helpful staff. About a 10 minute walk to the historical ramparts. Portugese Cistern is closed for repairs. About 1/2 hour walk to area with choices of restaurants. Area around the riad was not a touristed area at all. We stopped in El Jadida en route to Casablanca instead of returning to Marrakech from Essaouira, and travelling to Casablanca from Marrakech. However, in hindsight that might have been a better option. "
