Nice hotel, considering its older. We had a two bedroom. I was spacious. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.

Great experience!
Young lady at the front desk was very friendly, the moment I walked in the lobby she stood up and greeted me. Check in was quick and easy.

Too noisy
The suite was very spacious but they put me on the 2nd floor, above the bar/lounge!! The music was so loud and disturbing.

Horrible experience!! Our phone did not work . No iron nor blow dryer in the room. The ice machine was broken. We got locked out of our room the second night we were there. The clerk deactivated our room keys and only checked us in for one night instead of two!! We were Inconvenienced To have to go to the front desk not once but twice to get our room keys to work!! What a joke!! I do NOT RECOMMEND this hotel.

El Centro hotel stay.
The room/suite was huge and had a kitchenette with full sized fridge. It was clean enough for us. The balcony was horrible... bird and dog poop.. plus just filthy with spider webs and dirt. The pool was clean. The buffet breakfast was awesome. Best part was LISA at the front desk who was super sweet, kind and helpful. Also we requesyed more towels and they brought right away. Oh... the room a/c was very good... esp important since days were in the 100's.

I was very happy with the comfort of the property. There was a full size refrigerator in the room, and cooking facilities. For a one night stopover it was great. The area around the hotel is a bit desolate, but if you just need a night’s rest, it’s great.

The building shows its age. The room smelled of bleach when we first checked in but that is understandible concerning todays Covid cleaning requirements. Overall the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would stay there again.

I really wanted to like this property however we found a huge roach in the bathroom. We where moved to another room but by then we just didn't feel comfortable.

The beds where comfortable but the cleanliness could be better. Even updated a little. Our AC broke a d the staff immediately sent a handy man who was polite. He had mentioned that we needed to be moved to another room. The other room was comfortable as well. It’s a ok stay just needs some cleaning and updating.

Surprisingly good
Mainstay Suites in El Centro was an unexpected pleasure. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was bigger than I expected and more reminiscent of a junior suite at a timeshare. Our stay was on New Year's eve and was nice that Mainstay has an onsite bar. There was even a free New Year's Eve party in the courtyard. In the morning, the free continental breakfast included not only the usual fare of coffee, juice and pastries, but also had breakfast sandwiches, Belgian waffles, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Good deal even for the Friday night and holiday weekend rate of $139. Will be coming back for a 2 night weekday rate in the near future.

Amazing, it was spacious & so comfortable. It’s exactly how it’s pictured. We stayed for 4 nights & every night was wonderful & it’s conveniently located around a lot of places to eat. We also were able to make dinner in the room because of the kitchenette.

Basic stay. Busy place, it has the check in desk at the hotel next door. At first we got a poor perception due to dirty interior walls but the rooms were fine. AC was freezing cold, had a fridge, microwave, and stove in the room. Bed, couch, lots of room. Not a 5-star but workable. Has an outside courtyard outside the sliding patio door so it's great if you have multiple families gathering.

Conveniently located near family. Size of room was nice. We didn't like a phone call from the lobby to confirm our stay. Never have we ever had anyone or any hotel call us to confirm our arrival. We were given a room across the parking lot in the second building were they had loud music playing from 10 pm to 2 am. When my husband called to find out how long they were going to be playing loud music, they were willing to move us to the first building, which they could have done when we checked in. We had full Trash can in our room too! Receptionist offered to move us to first building, but Husband didn't want to go Naked. It was late. His plan was to write or call Bobby the manager but your company sent this request first so we are responding. We don't plan on staying here again unless it is for Free.

The beds were amazingly comfortable! After a long 5 hour drive we were dreading sleeping on the usual hard hotel beds. The beds here were spacious and had pillow toppers. They were like sleeping at home. The king suite we stayed in had everything we needed. Coffee maker, large apartment style refrigerator, stove, pots, pans, plates, bowls, you name it, they had it! I will definitely be staying here every time I come to visit my family in the area. There was even a bar downstairs! Loved it here!
