We had a lovely stay at Kau Kaleshen. The location is very convenient to the center of town and for any tour pick ups eg. We had a quick turn around with an early arrival from an AM flight before a glacier tour and Leonel at the front desk made everything seamless. He got us all set up, provided us with a charging converter, gave us a great breakfast rec, and kept our bags while getting our room ready way ahead of time (obviously not a guarantee but very nice and just shows that this type of smaller hotel really goes to personal lengths to optimize your stay if they can). The room was very comfortable and in great condition, the grounds were absolutely lovely. I highly recommend this stay and can’t say enough positive things about Leo.

The breakfast had no options and didn’t have even eggs. Even the coffee was not fresh. There was no hot water in our room and had to ask the personnel to come and take a look.

Petit hôtel plein de charme, un peu vieillot mais très fonctionnel, calme et propre. Idéalement situé, à quelques minutes à pied de la rue principale. Restaurant sur place et plusieurs options à proximité. Le personnel de la réception était aux petits soins — mention spéciale à Nachos, qui m’a beaucoup aidé lors d’un petit imprévu. Excellents conseils sur les activités à faire dans la région.

Funcionários muito prestativos e simpáticos. Localização excelente. Próximo a mercado, restaurantes, lavanderia. Pontos negativos: café da manhã, muito fraco. Poderiam oferecer mais variedades de pães e poderiam oferecer iogurtes. Caldeira apresentou problemas durante 3 dias, o que deixava a água morna.

Cozy, colorful garden, friendly front desk!

We travelled to Calafate in a family plan for four adults, my two daughters over 40, and my closest friend - like sister- and me, over 70. We were celebrating the three of them BDs, past in February and April, and late May for one of them. The place was amazing, cute, very convenient location, one block apart of the Main avenue of this small town. Even if it was out of peak season, the guys from the front desk, were super attentive to all our questions, gave us excellent tips and recommendations for places to have lunch or dinner or things to do. They prepared for us the breakfast that we could take in a very cozy room with fire place, armchairs, small tables, books to read and with a wide window to the garden, great in fall colors. Thank you guys! Lionel y Franco! We know now where to go when we come back to Calafate!
