Very nice and cosy place. We feel very welcome. Only problem is that airco was broken and was very hot. This is a little town with very small streets. Be careful when arriving because some GPS will take you to a very very narrow uphill streets.

Hotel con encanto pero mas gestionado

No te avisan en ningun sitio que el restaurante permanece cerrado de lunes a jueves. Para desayunar (que va incluido) te tienes que desplazar a un bar del pueblo. El ultimo dia jueves tenia que salir temprano y no pudimos desayunar ya que el bar a alas 8:45h estaba cerrado durante toda la estancia en el hote no ha visto a ningun responsable del mismo, no habia nadie. La tv dejo de funcionar y no habia a aquien reclamar.

Une merveille de réhabilitation. Rénovée dan la style d'antan en y ajoutant le confort d'aujourd'hui. Climatisation, double vitrage, Wi-Fi, literie confortable. Une très belle posada à ne pas manquer si vous êtes de passage.

Lovely rustic hotel with fantastic service!

Wonderful hotel in rustic Spanish style. Soledad made us feel more than welcome and at home during our 5-day stay, and her service was much more than could be expected. Fantastic breakfast with fresh fruits every day. Patking on the street outside the hotel, and a convenient store right next door. Private terrace was lovely. We are very pleased and happy we chose this hotel and would happily come back there!

Un verdadero chasco, al llegar no tenían constancia de la reserva, además tenían overbooking y de no ser por las chicas que nos recibieron que arreglaron el desaguisado como pudieron, seguro que no tan siquiera hubiéramos tenido alojamiento. Si la gestión de reservas hubiera sido adecuado seguro que sería un sitio fenomenal. Pero por el precio y en pleno mes de agosto es algo que se puede soportar. No TV ni AC.

Perfecto! In every way.

This is the sort of place I crave! The inn is a small bar/restaurant in the centre of El Borge. El Borge is a tiny mountainside hamlet of thin winding streets, if you don't enter on the correct road it's really difficult to find. It's about an hours dive from Malaga airport and 30 mins drive to Torre de Mar. The staff speak little English but are happy to try, and teach me Spanish... it's all part of the charm. Parking was available outside, I visited out of season I'm not sure what it would be like at busier times. Wifi was acceptable, but only accessible from the bar area, not the room. Even 3G struggled in the room. The staff made me feel welcomed and the food was amazing! Upon arrival they cooked up a dish not on the menu just based on what I said I fancied. Beer was lovely and refreshing. The room was cosy, AC was needed to heat it at night and some windows were just wooden shutters. The room was a generous size and have a large balcony with table and chairs. The bathroom included toiletries and the hot water was boiling and a good pressure. All in all I can't wait to re-visit on holiday instead of business.

Las habitaciones necesitan mas luz. El internet no funciona bien en las habitaciones. El sitio es precioso pero un poco ruidoso - no hay vidrio en alunas de las ventanas, entonces si abres la ventana para mas luz, entran moscas y ruido desde el exterior. Pero el personal muy amable y el restaurante, sobre todo, precioso de vista.
