「We were looking for a smaller hotel with a traditional Schwarzwald flair in a beautiful location, and this fit the bill perfectly! This is an old house, but entirely up to modern standards inside, with a friendly staff and warm feel. The room was cozy, looking out on the quiet main plaza with its church. 「Quirky place high up in the mountains. Beautiful setting. Great breakfast and good sizes rooms, however the walls are paper thin so you hear your neighbours at all hours. We didn’t get much of a lie in! Our shower was luke warm and not very powerful. 」

「Nous avons été très surpris par la taille ne notre chambre. Véritablement un petit appartement avec vue sur le lac. Lit très confortable et logement super propre. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet bien garni. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Si l'on veut chipoter un tout petit peu, le sèche serviette mériterait d'être changé.」

Freiberg Novotel

"We had a nice stay at the hotel. Location is great. It’s right next to the train station and Flix Bus stop. Breakfast is very good. However, one elevator (total 2) wasn’t working for 2 days out of the 3 days during our stay. Guests had to walk up and down stairs. I did inform the front desk staff that our room phone is not working on the very first day we checked in but they didn’t really care and never bother to fix it. It will be nice if some front desk staff could be more patient and friendly to Asian guests ."
