"This was a ski trip, so I chose this hotel because it has in&out skiing. You literally walk out the back, and ski onto the run. A little trickier coming back at the end of the day. You have to take the lift (19 I think) above it, and then ski down a very steep run to get to the back of the hotel. That was asking a lot from my legs after hours of skiing. There might be an easier route, but i didn‘t ask. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. Room was great, the breakfast was excellent, and they also have a snack time after skiing, and of course dinner. There is a warm, indoor pool, and a small gym with a treadmill & free weights. I did a short workout one evening. You get your own locker for storing skis, boots, etc that is coded to your room keycard. Overall, I loved it! The staff was friendly & helpful. I will definitely return to Sölden to ski again, and will stay at Hotel Edelweiß. I won‘t even bother looking for a different hotel - it‘s just too convenient! "

"Perfect hotel for a short ski break over the weekend, great location right next to one of th main gondolas and lots of taxis or a free bus to get to central Solden. All the staff were amazing, especially Krasamir who served us for breakfast and dinner every day. Always with a smile he couldn't be more helpful and was great providing gluten free options for my wife. Food was excellent, rooms and facilities top notch, our party couldn't have been happier, thank you!"
